Hi guys i need a light / touchscreen / strong hinge laptop

1. Preferred Brand: any
2. Budget: 5K
3. Usage: typing office document on site / on the go / in the car / bus .
4. Preferred laptop/screen size :

weight: less than 1.2kg
screen size at least 10"
not easy to get hot on my lap
I need one with hinge but not back stand to support my display, could not consider surface pro 4 for that reason.

How you guys think about XPS 13 ?

Hello bros and sis. Kinda in a pickle. Appreciate pointers to my next lappie.

1. Preferred Brand: any brand (hopefully other than dell or acer)

2. Budget: less than 2.3k

3. Usage: Cad/cam(3d modelling and some simulations) and light gaming (expect dota 2, aiming for high settings only, entertain younger cousins during family gathering). That is about it.

4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 14" or 15" (word processing will benefit from 14 in and above)
Am from a fujitsu th550. 12 inch lappie.

5. Other preference:
a. 4 usb ports
b. optical drive
c. VGA port will be a great plus

I need some insights from sifus here for this model, just wondering if the price tag is okay for my uses of the ultrabook.

Dell XPS 15 9530 (4k display) - MYR 7,999 from official Dell.

Will use for:-
1. Medium gaming (no AAA games) - I play dota, lol, mmorpg, some steam games

2. Game recording and video rendering / editing

3. Internet browsing and streaming

4. Needs to be portable and lightweight, gonna bring it to outside and also acts my main machine at home

5. Battery life is not important as I'll be plugging in most of the time

These are the main reasons why I am eyeing for xps15.

The other reasons will be like, the 4k display, the famous dell ips display, and weigh about less than 2kg or so.

I am debating with myself whether to go for a normal PC rig due to its price tag..

Any suggestions will do..

if you're not a hardcore gamer and not very choosy about graphic quality and you need portability, then choose laptop
other than xps 15, you also can consider asus zenbook pro but it dont have 4k screen though

Looking for UX-305FA for lower price.
XPS 13 and Zenbook are close for my preferred weight, and their display stand without the back stand.

i5 6200u
4GB DDR4 expandable up to 32GB dual slot, will expand to 8GB first
GT940MX 2GB
1TB HDD, wanna upgrade to SSD in future

any major issues with the acer screen?

I notice the budget is kinda similar to mine. How's my selection above boss? Got sell acer aspire e5-575g too?

E5-575G are much better than my suggestion in the above list
it's using a new graphic card, ddr4, 15" full hd screen, longer battery life
btw im not a seller just a recommenders
