Opps. As I was doing a shopping spree with my gf in Sg Wang yesterday, I came across al-Ikhsan shop where they posted RM99 Off Season Replica. So I went in and have a look. They were selling back dated jerseys and the notable ones are Liverpool Reebok home jersey 01/02, white colour away, some back dated ManU jersey (dunno which season). I bought the 'L' size Lpool home 01/02. Now some of u claimed Al-Ikhsan is sellin fake jerseys and I hope I'm not duped. Maybe Liverpool's one is cheaper coz Reebok no longer manufacturing for Liverpool??
Yes, it is cheaper because it is an old season jersey. Actually it is an easier way to buy cheaper original jerseys because they are from past seasons (unfortunately will make it cheaper la because not latest). For example, I went to Real One store and the latest england away red jersey is selling for RM159. Normal price is RM230 something. Because, it's used for world cup 2006 tournament and the next new red away will be released next year before the Euro 2008. England reversible away jersey worn during World Cup 2002 is also sold there, and it's RM99 only.
Don't worry about it being fake or not, I normally shop a lot at Al-Ikhsan and Real-One store (located below al Ikhsan at BB plaza). Both shops sells ori jerseys. Dunno la which dude claim that it sells fake but maybe he thinks that because there are some original jerseys that are manufactured in Thailand and they assume straight away that it's fake. Nike/adidas has globalization employed to their jerseys manufacturing. The arsenal home latest itself is made in indonesia, even if you buy it at UK or near Emirates Stadium also it's made in indonesia.
Double checked this with Nike's Marketing manager as well. He himself said Nike Malaysia endorsed al-ikhsan as their business partner. So no worries.
I am not friends with the al-ikhsan tauke so I am not telling u this because I support them.
