Yup, but the thing is.. when the june stock arrives it will be the new design for 2007/2008 season. Heard that even the home red jersey will also be changed.Go to al-ikhsan at BB Plaza. Most probably out of stock also, but you can try to check at another store called 'Real One Zone'. It's located 1 floor below Al-Ikhsan, exactly in front of the escalator. I've seen some and most probably the price might be reduced (because near to end of season). Or else, buy from ebay. |

QUOTE(raymen9 @ Apr 26 2007, 12:46 AM) i heard about it...does any body know about this...plz do let us know... yup i think we discussed this before. just because it's made in Thailand doesn't mean it's fake, some brands do have a manufacturer/factory in this part of the world, incl Thailand, Indonesia, etc. thus 'Made in Thailand' lah brader!i also heard that the jersey that alikhsan sells are brought from thailand and china...and most of the goods there are rejected and that is the reason they go so cheap...im not sure just sharing what that i know...if im mistaken please correct me... diff is licensed and unlicensed manufacturers in Thailand i.e. licensed by brands, and unlicensed meaning AAA fakes. as for Al-Ikhsan, I've been going there to get my jerseys and glad to say that never bought a fake one from there. sometimes their jerseys are cheap due to promo (like end-season, etc) or that they are having a price war with Real One for their jerseys. not because they are fakes from Thailand, etc. can safely say it's 100% original goods there, cause they stock from Adidas Malaysia, Nike Malaysia, etc. so if these brands found out that they are selling imitation stuff, nahas! |

Already went there. No stock left.Back again about the Made In Thailand question. United's official training kits are all Made in Thailand. Go to UK, or even to United's Megastore and try to buy one training kit. All are Made in Thailand. Not just United but also all Nike sponsored teams such as Arsenal, Barcelona, Inter Milan... The shorts are also made in Thailand. The jerseys are made either in Morocco or Indonesia. For 2006/2007: 2006 and past: Nike Sphere 2007 onwards: NikeFit Man United: Home Kit - Shirt is Made in Morocco, Shorts is Made in Thailand Away Kit - Shirt is Made in Indonesia, Shorts is Made in Thailand Arsenal: Home Kit - Shirt is Made in Indonesia, Shorts is Made in Thailand Away Kit - Shirt is Made in Morocco, Shorts is Made in Thailand Barcelona: Home Kit - Shirt is Made in Morocco, Shorts is Made in Thailand Away Kit - Shirt is Made in Morocco, Shorts is Made in Thailand Inter Milan: Home Kit - Shirt is Made in Morocco, Shorts is Made in Thailand Away Kit - Shirt is Made in Morocco, Shorts is Made in Thailand Why is this? Because Nike is very clever, due to globalisation they want to cut cost so they open factories in countries like Thailand, Indonesia and Pakistan. Nike footballs are made in Pakistan. Cost is less, sell with same currency in UK (GB Pound) etc. Don't be fooled with the fact that the original jersey is made in Thailand, you can easily assume it's fake. If you thought that it's fake, why not you go to Nike's boutique shops (Nike shops) and check for yourself where is the same item made? Even adidas jerseys are also now made in Thailand. The player version Germany Euro 2004 jersey I once saw, is Made in Thailand. Here I found some pictures of Original 2006 Japan jerseys won in World Cup 2006. Take a look at them: ![]() Home kit: ![]() Away kit: ![]() As you can see from above, these are original jerseys. XXL was and is never manufactured by the pirates in Thailand. Some more, got the official chris kay lextra World Cup 2006 badge and tags included with details to prove it's authenticity. See where it's made? And guess what, I got these photos from an ebay seller in UK. Jerseys are from UK. So don't worry if you see jerseys 'Made in Thailand' or 'Made in Indonesia'. Al-Ikhsan sell 100% originals. Anyway, some lighter note on about the world of jersey collections.. I have finally bought the 'bible' for original and retro jersey collectors like me.... the book is called 'TRUE COLOURS' written by John Devlin and comes in Volume 1 & 2. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I finally manage to find this book at kinokuniya. It's not cheap though, RM98 something.. Finally, the book with it's original kinokuniya plastic: ![]() The book in it's protective plastic: ![]() Gosh... someone ripped some of the plastic. Maybe wanna take a sneak peak... was it you Aaron? Hehehe.. Not virgin anymore la this book: ![]() The info is fantastic! All jerseys in details: ![]() But I need Volume one! ![]() Still looking for volume one. Inside Volume 1 only got info of jerseys used by Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and my beloved Red Devils. Now looking for it at ebay.. Damn! This post has been edited by schmeichel7: Apr 27 2007, 12:31 AM |

QUOTE(aw13 @ Apr 26 2007, 01:50 PM) yup i think we discussed this before. just because it's made in Thailand doesn't mean it's fake, some brands do have a manufacturer/factory in this part of the world, incl Thailand, Indonesia, etc. thus 'Made in Thailand' lah brader! hi, i am new here . jus wan to share some experiance here, cause i also a jersey diehard fans . i do buy original jersey n AAA jersey. my fren also selling AAA jersey . So i so hav some experiance about it . diff is licensed and unlicensed manufacturers in Thailand i.e. licensed by brands, and unlicensed meaning AAA fakes. as for Al-Ikhsan, I've been going there to get my jerseys and glad to say that never bought a fake one from there. sometimes their jerseys are cheap due to promo (like end-season, etc) or that they are having a price war with Real One for their jerseys. not because they are fakes from Thailand, etc. can safely say it's 100% original goods there, cause they stock from Adidas Malaysia, Nike Malaysia, etc. so if these brands found out that they are selling imitation stuff, nahas! I agree with aw13m, AL-ikhsan are selling 100% original jersey. Actually the concept is same like u buy a handphone . Eg u wan buy SE hp , when u go to sony concept store , the hp price is more expensive then u buy in those retail shop .But it doesn't mean they selling fake ,jus sony sell their product more cheaper to those retail shop so that customer can buy their product at anywhere . So in my view , Al-ikhsan also get the nike product more cheaper frm nike , if Al-ikhsan sell their product same price with the nike concept store , who will buy frm them ? i mean more ppl will prefer to buy in nike concept store rite ? |

QUOTE(waynelyp90 @ May 2 2007, 10:13 AM) Very hard to tell la... It doesn't necessary mean it's fake, but you might need to inspect physically if you really really want to buy it. Check the embroidery of the club badge, the quality of the item....Added on May 2, 2007, 4:45 pm QUOTE(aw13 @ Apr 30 2007, 05:18 PM) no worries man will look out for you. don't waste time @ Borders BTS though, was there at the weekend and they don't have it... Yeah, I had my brother to check it there and it's not available. best bet now is either Kino KLCC and/or Borders the Curve...good luck! If any of you guys found it, please help me to buy it for me first. I am willing to pay you guys later. This post has been edited by schmeichel7: May 2 2007, 04:45 PM |
