I use Pay now option, as I already knew Pay later option not entitle for CB.

In fact, the Hotel charge my PBVS (amount shown at Agoda + another 6% GST) about 1 hour after the booking made, I was notified this by sms.

There is a discussion about this few pages back. That case is when the hotel collects the payment and thus no CB. Someone also posted on a tip about detecting that is is collected by the hotel by checking whether they ask for your address or not.

Has it been posted?

Every Agoda booking also need to fill-out the address (the same information) , therefore I really can't tell the different between them, the tips given didn't work for me.

Sorry to confuse you, I mean Hotel has charged my PBVS after booking made, not Agoda.com. And these payment was posted in my PBVS transaction history after 3 days.

Agoda CS reply "payment will be collected by the hotel directly", at first I thought they only bill me after I check out, but i was wrong, they charge me in advance (1 hour after booking made).

I see. I will start to check the exact words in my sms/billed transaction. So far, all my booking get the CB.

Do update us on your final result, whether you get the CB or not. If it is so troublesome, I rather use other cards which give agoda discount directly.

Since someone has already said this transaction are not entitled for CB, I will use my CB quota for other payments.

Compare with use other cards which give Agoda discount directly (like 5% discount by using www.agoda.com/aeon), I prefer to use Shopback as it gives up to RM55 Cashback for Bookings more than RM220.

Just to make it clear, for Pay Now option in Agoda, look for the tiny italic words at the room type as below:
"Not included in room price: Tax 6% (collected by hotel)".

The payment of this type of booking is collected by the hotel. The payment usually will process after a day or two depends on the hotel. Or another way to know is you will see the address field to fill up after you click book.

These not only excluded from our PVS cash back. Those bookings made thru credit card promotion links are excluded as well.

I finally understand what you said, next time we should go for option 2, unless their price different is more than 6%.

Hotel B (Singapore)

2) Not included in room price: Service charge 10%, Hotel tax 7%


Hotel C (Malaysia)

1) Not included in room price: Tax 6% (collected by hotel), City tax MYR 3.00 (collected by hotel) ~ I book this one

2) Not included in room price: Hotel tax 6%

So in the transaction history, the name of the merchant is Agoda or the hotel? Anyways, just let us know whether you get the cashback in your next statement.

The Transaction Description is OLIVE TREE HOTEL BAYAN LEOAS MY; like i said, I won't wait for the answer as I would use the balance quota for other payment which entitled for 6% cb.

Hi, how long u waiting for your credit card application to approve? I had been waiting for a month, just called the public bank CS yesterday, she said the application is in the process.

around 3 weeks, my RM helped me to call few days before the application was approved, she said the card center still processing my application.

after few days then i got the sms saying my application was approved.

ambank WMC 1 week gaodim. i applied pbb and ambank card in same day.

same case for mine.. luckily my bm help me to appeal for visa signature then got it approved

and my wmc less than 4 working days approved

I called to pb bank cs and luckily they waived it for me.

IWK Payment on Pos online website,

"500 - Internal Servor Error", i keep getting this error when tried to
pay IWK with credit card on Posonline.

With Chrome and Internet Explorer also same.

Anybody knows how to solve this? Thanks.

Applied successful BT 0% 12mths for min RM5K. The BT form t&c is incorrect. Those new to bank member approved after 30Apr to 30Jun also can apply.

separate statements - do you still pay thought the principle as usual or you have to pay separately?
