Regarding B1F1 tickets, you book 2 tickets and pay for 1? How would GSC know if you are using PB card?
What about buying 2 adults and 2 kids tickets in a single transaction? Free on the adult or kid ticket?

Oh, if it auto cancel with no penalty then I will be happy as the booking is a 'no cancellation' type. And I was attracted by the low price. Mana tau after booked it say the price I paid is exclude 6%GST and 10% service charge. I can get same or slightly cheaper in agoda.

book 2 tickets, select 2 seats, enter credit card details, then there'll be a final amount to be charged (less 1 ticket price).

Better make sure the transaction is not authorized. Otherwise, you may still get billed.

From my experience thru Booking.com - they don't charge any amount from credit card at point of booking . Card details just used as some form of 'security' in case of no-show and no cancellation of booking/s after stipulated time frame.

Also, the prices shown in Booking are before taxes. Most times, the final price about the same via Booking or Agoda..now Booking.com n Agoda belong to same owner

I recently made two bookings from expedia. Both charged to card during booking. City tax payable to hotel in cash.

Charged on booking? Great, can use pbvs to get 6% or Vox 5%.
What is city tax? I saw expedia prices inclusive gst and service charge already.

Some countries charge levy for hotel stay. Charged by the local council but collected by hotel. If you have ambank card, there is 10% discount.
