QUOTE(skty @ May 26 2019, 07:23 PM) oic. my bad. Log into your account....then click on the flight search....then at the top, click the use miles button....it will always default to cash.....if enrich redemption is based on revenue, 1 enrich miles is equivalent to how much RM? weird, I try to test the enrich redemption. I can't find the way to redeem using enrich miles. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ May 27 2019, 01:36 AM) Apologies for asking a really dumb question... I've never redeemed KF before and now getting cold feet about whether I should convert all my TPs to KF or EN, as I'm nervous about KF's waitlist system. Waitlist can confirm just days before departure....but I understand sq is implementing a rule to finalise allocation 2 weeks before....How long does KF normally waitlist for? I'm considering redeeming 3 economy flights to Amsterdam in December, which are all waitlisted. Is the waiting time normally weeks or months? And if I book 3 tickets, will they all be waitlisted together, or separately (i.e. can I end up in a situation where 2 tickets are confirmed, but 1 can't make it)? Sorry for my very silly questions. If the waitlist is too unpredictable, I'm thinking to redeem all TPs to Enrich for convenience (i.e. direct flights from KL, no waitlist). Thanks in advance. If the booking is made covering all passengers, then confirmation will only be given if all passengers are assigned seats....which means it's more difficult got group bookings to get confirmation compared to solo travelers... P/s I just cancelled a j wait list a week ago, as it was getting too close and uncertain....since y is available, just take it..... return j is confirmed.... QUOTE(SkyX @ May 30 2019, 01:39 AM) Air France first class can only be redeemed by their own elite FFP members. Exactly ....keeping some em for economy redemption....but j is stupidly expensive, totally not competitive against kf....Enrich miles seems to give good value (about rm0.03 ~ 0.05 = 1 mile) for redeeming economy class tickets, but business class redemption value is totally uncompetitive most of the time.. |

QUOTE(Zegoon681111 @ Jun 29 2019, 07:15 PM) hi guys, good evening, On check in, there should be an option to enter FF number...im new to this, need guidance on KF earning. 1. if i book a flight with SQ star alliance airlines say bangkok air, will i earn KF? Or bangkok air's FFP's miles? 2. if yes, may i know how to go about it to earn KF? tried to booking a flight but cant seem to find a column to fill in my KF membership no to earn KF. Instead, i signed up that airline's FFP and can earn their miles instead thank you so much |

QUOTE(Zegoon681111 @ Jun 30 2019, 08:40 AM) The FFP no that I could key in is only that airlines' FFP no and not KF no. Not familiar with Bangkok air, but generally other airlines within alliances allows passengers to select which ffp to claim under....Or I shouldn't book in that airlines' website directly? But do note that often, claiming under a different airline may accure you less miles than with the original airline.... |

QUOTE(whycanot323 @ Jul 18 2019, 11:28 PM) petrol, internet, meals, retails, bills, insurance... If you can reach 60k spend, both amex gives you the same RM1=1 mile.....but the kf amex was meant for gov spending before the rules changed.... particularly LHDN....the 0.8% surcharge is worth the miles....i just wanna state that those 5x overseas spending doesnot affect me much, because not much can collect for overseas spending (few days in a year) if compare to my local spendings ( whole year long)..... i am currently using m2c platinum amex to collect treats points, but found out that the rate for exchange is lowest comapare to others maybank cards. so if i spend in malaysia, what do you guys think, the fastest card that can collect more krisflyer....? is maybank singapore airline krisflyer collect faster than m2c platinum for kf miles? 1) Maybank 2 premier amex 2) (OFF) Maybank world master - i dont want to take liao, cause got RM1000 af once activate, cant waive (ask liao from bank) 3) Maybank Singapore Airline Krisflyer Unfortunately no more now..... |

The value of a mile as explained in the article varies on many factors.....but primarily the class of redemption....
However, it's REAL value is only based on the class you will normally pay money to buy...... For most people, me included, we are only willing to pay y fares..... so we have to look at the real value on y redemption..... I just redeemed y on mh to BNE..... nominally, based on the money I saved over the number of miles, it came up to 3.7 Sen per mile..... however, if I bought with full cash, I get a cheaper promo fare, and the actual value goes down to 2.5sen....actually less, as I will then also get some free miles.... At that value, I would be mad to buy miles at 5sen each....in fact, if I got the miles spending overseas with an extra charge of 2.5%, it's just about even, might as well use BP card save the exchange margin and just pay cash for the flight..... QUOTE(enriquelee @ Nov 17 2019, 08:45 PM) The points seems give quite a high cash value huh. Both treats points and enrich miles have a 3 year life, theoretically giving you 6 years to decide how to use....I compare with credit card point, enrich point seems much higher value. Newly earn points. Btw, the point expire in how long time? |

KF probably most value now, with low cash payment....btw mind to share which program u are focusing now? Enrich I need to top up a bit to make the accured miles from flights of any use.... purely for Y use, J redemption is out of this world! |

Secondly, from what i know Krisflyer currently is the best among all, but what if you are malaysian? You guys transit at singapore just to take singapore airline? and fly to other europe country? |
