Cool, So from penang to singapore will also be Singapore airlines right? They won't like ask you to use Silkair to take as transit plane and let your board Singapore airlines starting from singapore to london.
There is complete code sharing between sq and mi....so you can book under either....in any case, they are in the process of merging mi back into sq....so by maybe next year, no more mi....QUOTE(pingoz @ Jan 29 2020, 10:11 PM)
Does this apply to Suite/First Class? Not able to find Suite/First Class on the redemption page, eg: Pen/KL > Singapore > London
in a multi-sector search, if a class of travel is not available in one sector, you will NOT see that class for booking....so there is NO booking on f or w class from msia, as the aircrafts used only have j and y...if you want a mixed class redemption, you have to either book the 2 sectors separately, or call them up to try make a mixed class redemption manually....

so you get a sq code ticket between pen-sin on a mi metal....the problem is with kch.....which is served only by tr....which while code shares with sq, and you can book revenue ticket starting/ending at kch, you cannot redeem miles....
