Wii News Channel up and running on my US Wii. Great use of the globe again, news data provided by Associated Press AP. No related news so far for Malaysia, our neighbour Singapore gets news about oil price crisis. Very very cool! Fuuny and weird seeing news about the European PS3 launching on a Wii. Complete with pictures!

too good to be true?
QUOTE SPOnG has just been speaking to our friends at Datel, who have sent us details on a couple of 'cheap as chips' must-have Wii gizmos. They have also informed us that region-unlocking software for Wii - to enable you to play US Wii titles (providing you have an NTSC-compatible TV of course) is being developed and should be arriving 'very soon.' Make it come faster, Datel! article quote from, http://spong.com/article/11331/Region-free...Shower%20Inside |

Yep zoom in. Nice. The update also seemed to fix the Weather Channel for me (which had stopped working since the Internet Trial download). Not that I ever use it.
Now if only I could get into the Wii Shop. |

Guys, if you're reading this, turn on your News Channel NOW! Go to International news, zoom out your globe and spin it to the American continent. Look at Hagerstown area! On mine, the news content there is so many, it has been represented by stacks of newspaper stacked up on top of each other, it becomes a SKYSCRAPER of newspaper!
Added on January 27, 2007, 3:30 pm Personally, i think Nintendo has a definite winner here. Imagine waking up in the morning, turning on your Wii, and reading the news headlines off the News Channel while having breakfast. Who needs newspapers anymore! Whoa sweet stuff - the News channel. Gonna check it out later.
And by the way, did anyone try out Zelda? I finally had some time off after I finish my exams and started playing it.. I'm in the first temple and god was I actually bored. Got stuck in the bloody dungeon for the longest time ever and had to resort to using walkthroughs to breeze through. Frankly I pretty much hate hate hate dark and damp dungeons. Does the story progress well after this temple, because if it's going to be dungeon after dungeon for Twilight Princess, I'm gonna let it rot on my shelf till my friend gets his Wii (so I can let him play it instead). |

I personally dun like it and wonder how people vote for it as game of te year like crazy fans. To me, wii sports beats the hell ou of zelda anytime. And by the way, did anyone try out Zelda?
