well, for an easy n non costly solution, can always use those typical video switches for composite (yellow, white n red), but replace them with RGB cables , can also use the SAME non color specific cables as long as they're the same length n quality (need some coordination lar on this). used this setup before i got an actual component video switch.....unless u hv the eyes of a hawk, u cant see any difference. even if u did, i dont think theres any. works like a charm for years for me as my tv got 1 component input only n my amp aint got any! provided (as i mentioned before), use same cables, same length etc (from switch to tv all cables length A, dvd player to switch length B etc....for the console to the switch hv to get respective cables for consoles lar, hehe)
however, this only works if you connect your sound cables (red n white) directly to your amp lar n not to ur tv, hehe. if need optical inputs for sound hv to see ur amp lar.....need different tool for that if u dont hv enuff
well, general rule of thumb applies for audio if u lack audio input (red n white cable). get creative!
so, who sez u need to spend a bomb to find a fancy switch
