Wah malim ah? haha. Well, student over there lah.
Good choice. You can also try Play Asia for NMH. The price is reasonable for me. |

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Jan 3 2009, 07:58 PM) Hehe. True dat. I recommend you get the bigger items over there first. The games can easily be purchased here without having to think about high shipping costs. I'm not sure what else you can scourge from UK, but give it your best shot. Woohoo...just got my Wii Fit + balance board from Amazon for £68.50 (that's the cheapest here Didn't think it would be that heavy...but it's sweet!!!!! Been playing Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party with it, love sliding around on my bum Highly recommend it to those thinking about getting it. |

best to bring it back to the shop. If the shop decides to charge you because of the channel, argue that the channel is supposed to be in the Wii all along.

US modded for genuine and non genuine games. But, you risk your console to bricking if you decide to update ur console. and also playing a new game may update ur console even if you don't want it too.
modded gives more complications. like missing channels and so on. Go unmodded for peace of mind. Honest. |

Agree with Kyo. Your best bet is the unmodified US version since Nintendo assign Malaysia to US region. Most official counters i.e. Best Denki, Jusco MV sell US unmodded Wii. You can also look in Garage Sales board, got a few stores whose owners are member here that also sell unmodded console. If you feel lucky you can even try to import one from the US using eBay, NCSX or Amazon with vPost, since consoles from the US is almost certainly not modded.

No difference. Just language. One is korean, the other is japanese.

If Korean must update using Korean software, is it true? I still don't understand how updates work on softmod/hardmod Wii

I've recently got a Wii from Gamer's Hideout. Unmodded US version, mostly due to warranty issues and piece of mind (Also, I was told that there are more choice of games for the US version compared to the other versions), although modded consoles sound very tempting.
I want to play certain games that are available for the Japanese version though, e.g. Bleach Versus Crusade. How do I get around this? Sorry of the question has been asked before >_> |
