If you bought a NTSC/UC version (region assigned to US and Malaysia), the Wii Sports should be bundled inside the Wii packaging itself.

Hi. I've been buying my Wii for almost a month now and i'm loving it. I've been playing metroid prime 3 : corruption and i'm getting addicted. Finished the legend of zelda : twilight princess already. I've read that if we play original games it will asked for the firmware upgrade or something like that which will somehow corrupt our Wii. Is this true? I recently bought Wii Fit and I got the original game included but it will asked whether to update or not. So i just ignored. I still can load the game and play with the Wii fit board without any issues. I just want to confirm when will it really upgrade the firmware without informing me or go unnoticed? This is because I planned to buy rockband 2 original and might corrupt my Wii. By the way, any idea where can I buy rockband 2 original in malaysia or oversea?

there's no guaranteed way to say when it will automatically update the firmware. But you would know that it is doing so if it immediately updates upon loading the disc. How and wehn is unsure.

You can try Singapore game shops or Gamers Hideout. But at Gamers Hideout, I believe they only have the game and drumset. I might be wrong though.

Gamer's Hideout should have the Rock Band 2 set (Original), but not sure if they have stock. You can pre-order from them, actually.

My Wii performed an update whilst I was trying to load Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. Couldn't stop the update though (It told me to power down my Wii if I didn't want it to update), but if I didn't update I couldn't load FF. Apparently after the update my firmware version is still the same. Hmm.

yup2. but I'm not sure which firmware update is it that provides keyboard support. good for sending messages. haha.

bought a PAL unmodded wii too. currently in the UK, heading home in july. pity to know that no such support for PAL machines in Malaysia. oh well
