Hi there, any update on your welcome bonus?

Just now I made a call and the CS had no idea what is the welcome bonus about. After some waiting, she said that I didn't submit the document to them on time while in fact I replied to the application email within an hour after receiving the application confirmation. Are we supposed to submit the documents through cimbclicks? Damn this sucks
*
After like 3 weeks CIMB responded to my email. They called me today morning and mentioned their management approved my welcome bonus and will be credited in my next statement. Yay!

Do you get bonus points when you spend using your cash rebate CIMB MasterCard ?

Means get bonus points and rebates together on the same transaction ?

CIMB CR has no reward points, there is another CIMB card that gives reward points.

nothing new. each bank/systems behaving differently.  smile.gif

so far, in my case...

1) statement readiness is +4 days after statement date
2) cashback is +1 day after statement date (it was revised last year)
3) unbilled transaction history is +1 day after posting (similar to other banks)

CIMB is getting worst after the upgrade of their website since early this year.
today, click "All accounts", my CC account missing. but click "CC" button, my CC account appeared. after the upgrade, sometimes my saving account missing then sometimes my FD account missing. sometimes, all are ok.
my CB plat last month statement also late for a few days.

I've got a question, I applied for CIMB Cashback Mastercard Platinum and I got RM10 welcome bonus (credit) on 27 Jan. Then on 22 Feb, they did a "WELCOME BONUS FOR NTB REVERSAL" and reversed (debit) my RM10 welcome bonus.

Did this happen to anyone else?

I hope yours is not pay later type of room, then you won't be entitled for additional 5% online transactions.

You might want to consider asking this at https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3644347 since you are first timer.
