Do we really need to write in to MDKS for each renovation work? If I hire few different contractors to do different jobs, then I'd be very busy preparing letters n getting approval..

Is there any jmb for this development?

If no...then only if you do exterior reno needs to get approval from local council....and usually local council will required approval written letter from yr closest neigbours.

If only interior work...no need to apply.

If ada jmb...then need to get approval from jmb bcos jmb wiill liase w guardhouse to give access. Also most likely jmb will impose deposit for reno. U still need to obtain approval letter from local council.

JMB only application to strata title project, but this project should have resident association once develoer ready to handover since it is individual title project.

So how is the guarding work from now until RA formed?
Who will control the influx of contractors?

Not so sure about this. Should be from developer end.
Dont think you can form any RA right after VP. It should be a year after VP usually.
Need check with the expert, i am not so sure about this smile.gif

So has the developer reserved an empty unit and use it as RA office now?

Do they have power to monitor renovation?
Do residents need to submit to them who are the contractors and what can be renovated or not?

RA need an office? I dont think the developer reserved any empty unit as RA office. But all your concern should be stated in the RA agreement signed by all the buyer, I didnt read through all the clauses laugh.gif
