i am actually in dilemma of doing business taxation (UK variant) or business taxation (Malaysian variant), as i am currently reside in the UK. please advise.

take uk variant lo since you're reside in UK. i think it's quite hard to find mys variant tuition provider there. correct me if i'm wrong.

The book i recommended also can use.....

Erm, since u in UK u can take UK variant loh.....if u decide come back malaysia n want some tax knowledge, get a MIT qualification.....

i could not find any tuition provider here in the UK running malaysian taxation variant, let alone books.

now i wonder where i can buy study texts and revision online?(2.3 Mys)

i intend to sit my 2.3 paper in Malaysia since my visa is going to finish in April. i wonder whether there are facilities for me to sit 2.3 UK variant in malaysia?

Colleges in Malaysia, how many classes do u all have to attend? i heard Sunway have class everyday.How about other college?

December 2006 The pass rates are out!!aiyo...now im a little bit scary when i see malaysia % pass..still very low..most scary is 3.1,3.2.. but there's a relief for sunway student..their % are mostly above the world rates!!

have a question in mind. is there a law paper in ACCA papers?
currently have a year left in my degree programme, which exempts 9 paper of ACCA.

the pass rate is available in the ACCA FOCUS magazine(latest issue,i got it same with the student accountant)..at the last page..it is under the sunway college advert..

i dun know..wait for the result arr..

IMO, the good lecturer for 2.3 is ms wong paik wan from mcorange

eeh how come ms rozi teaching tax paper geh i remember suppose to be mr simon kok one

all i know abt miss rozi is she is a prizewinner student in paper 2.5 and she aso formally from sunway college. before she enrol in ACCA she is a finance director in don't know what company (all i heard so far)

after she graduated she was approached by our principal to be the CAT level lecturer specialised in accounting. so from her excellent ACCA background i think she will be fine as a business tax lec just that you need to ask more question and get active a bit she can be quite soft sometime until you don't feel the energy.

ms rozi have been teaching cat paper 9 tax since last year, from what i heard from her. she really talk so fast, so hard to catch up. or sometimes talk fast fast then suddenly stop and target ppl with question.

is mr simon kok better?
since i'm in group 1, i cant change to other class unless i have to change to group 2 but the timetable not suitable for me.
