QUOTE(jc120208 @ Jan 22 2016, 11:53 PM) Calling 6S users who've upgraded from the 6 It is really worth upgrading? Sorry if this has been asked for the umpteenth time. Been using my i6 for a year now and am still on the fence if I should go for the 6S. I noticed the significant bumped in performance eg the 2G RAMDay to day usage, did you notice significant speed bump? Gamings and browsing etc. And also the 3d touch, it is really a gimmick or it is really useful? Pls advise i change my iPhone 6 to iPhone 6s Plus. Personally most noticeable different is the touch ID when unlocking screen. Force touch- not much use.

Thanks for all the feedback all. Much appreciated. Have decided to go for it - used or new. Life is short, just do what you like to do. Haha
Ok what are the colors you all are using? Been having black front IPhones for the last 2-3 gens, wanna go for white now. Is the rose gold really percepted as girly? See from GS, most of the used sets are rose gold. Maybe the traders anticipated that there's more demand as its a new color
Would probably go for gold!

If you are looking at reselling it, more unique colors like "gold" and "rose gold" will probably be slightly higher priced/being looked out for due to the fact space grey and white/silver will be still available when a new iPhone launch.

Actually in a way, I think the color demands would affect the resell value. This is one example of a refurbished set sales thread for 6 plus. 64 GB : Space Grey - RM 2450 Silver - RM 2600 Gold - RM 2650 128 GB: Space Grey - RM 2500 Silver - RM 2630 Gold - RM 2650 Note that difference in color can go up to RM200 in pricings. But having said that, I would still go for the color that I like rather than focusing purely on the resell value This post has been edited by jesseblue: Jan 27 2016, 11:54 AM

I meant the older model would not have certain colors. Of course newer model iPhones definitely will have rose gold and gold. Exm. When iPhone 6s/6s plus came out, iPhone 6/6plus only has white/silver and space grey. @jesseblue <--- getting what I meant. But not everyone thinks the same way, thinking a color affects the pricing.

Iphone 6s introduced rose gold and it WILL be available in that color for the future iphones. As i said, only scalpers think those colors are "special edition"

I'm saying after a newly launched iPhone. Buying new, Apple limits the older model to only white/silver and space grey options. (Go to apple.com, options for gold isn't available). That's one reason why people treat rose gold and gold as "special edition" Sorry if I can't explain it well enough. cheers

It is not the scalpers but the buying public who dictate the special edition status as it is they who provide the demand which makes it so. So, the so-called scalpers ride the wave and embark on the profiteering band-wagon.

Only Apple can fool the world claiming pink color is gold.
