Yes, apart from the shadowy issue, the rest of the phone is OK, but I also realised there is a very narrow gap between the screen and the phone's gold casing near the power/sleep button til the curve. You can only see it when you compare closely between 2 sides, but to me that is still acceptable...

Anyway, your replacement is a refurbished phone? The apple technician did offer me few options, send for diagnosis, replacement or refund. I was assured that the replacement will be a new unit though... just that before I can decide or ask further our phone conversation got cut off due to bad reception on my side... So i'm thinking to call again only after I make up my mind.

Hmmm if you're getting a replacement phone then why not? hahaa but just don't put your hopes up... My friend did 8 replacements... ALL replacement phones come with uneven screen brightness or dust in camera issue...

Hi there, i had this issue too before - after the 9.2 update the issue vanished.

I already with 9.2. Hope can vanish in next 9.3.

just get my 6s+ today. i first charge the phone when the battery is 16%, after around half an hour charging only 1% up until 17% and then i restart the phone it display 50%. just now i update to ios 9.2.1 already still doesn't fix the battery display update problem lol

and the charging is very slow when the screen is off, but when i on the screen the charging % will up quite fast

Apple is aware of this issue and is working on a fix. I think it'll come with iOS 9.3.

so far mine charge using iPad charger very fast on my 6sPlus.

Can anyone suggest full screen tempered glass protector that does not have any air gap at the side?
If possible I'd like to use it with my apple leather case.


My story:
All tempered glass are the full cover.

1st - Apple machines (Gardens) - 0.3mm - RM160 (no air gap)
Perfectly fitted but change because got a few minor scratches.

Here is when I keep changing the sp because I can't handle the annoying air gap.

2nd - Mr DIY (Plaza Alam Sentral) - 0.3mm - RM8 - full transparent (got air gap)

3rd - Online purchase at lelong - 0.3mm - RM20 (got air gap)

4th - Nillkin (Klang parade) - 0.2mm - RM40 (got air gap, not fit to use with Apple leather case)

5th - Machines (Sunway Pyramid) - 0.15mm - RM140 (no air gap)
I'm satisfied with my sp but my phone drops and the tempered glass cracked so I replace with a new one.

6th (Currently using - picture as in attachment) online purchase Lelong - 0.2mm -RM30 (got air gap)

According to the list, this clearly shows that the only way to get a perfect fitted tempered glass with no air gap is to buy at Apple Store. However I'd like to hear if u guys have any other options or suggestions for my next tempered glass. Do recommend any good sp seller that can solve this issue.

precisely the same situation as mine,the charging sort of like woke up when you unlock the phone.
in fact the charging time is very inconsistent,sometime it charges like crazy,like 1% per minute,sometime 10 minutes per 1%,sometime i charge overnight also hasn't full when i woke up.
i hope the next update resolve this problem

Yeah I saw most of the users in this thread were suggested to go for Imos. Where can I get it? But it's 0.4mm isn't? Do you think this sp won't have the air gap at the side of the screen?

Actually I'm not really a fan of thick sp and I don't think 3D sp will be compatible to go with the Apple leather case. Specifically I prefer to have a 0.15 - 0.25mm sp if possible. But if there is no other option I might give it a go.

Tell you what, from what I read in Apple Discussions that the curvature of the 6s/6s Plus is more rounder than 6. That is why the air gap is there cause there's no glass for the tempered glass to stick on.

I read that too.. The Apple discussion came up first when I Google it. But according to the Apple staff (pyramid) on my 6th sp, they told me that they don't have any specific tempered glass for the 6s. All the tempered glass that they are selling is compatible for both 6 and 6s. I was kinda afraid that the air gap issue still persist when buying the sp from them but later after they had it installed, I am very satisfied as it fits perfectly without any air gap at the side of the screen. Check out my previous tempered glass as in the attachment. It fits perfectly without any air gap. It's just I'm here to find any other alternative besides buying the tempered glass from the Apple stores.

Can I just solicit advice here whether anyone here who signed up a plan with DiGi, purchased an iPhone 6s Plus but got a DOA unit? And were you able to claim under the 14 days Apple Return/Replacement policy and not under RMA as the unit was only a couple of days old? TQ.
