Guys, the headphone jack on my IPhone 6s Plus has stopped working. (I.e. Sound still comes out from the phone and not headphone when plugged in). Usually, if send back to Maxis, how long do I have to wait for a replacement? And is the replacement unt guaranteed to be a refurbished one?
*
Yep, replacement guaranteed a refurbished set

HI,

Anyone had this problem?

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/724671...tart=0&tstart=0

where the tempered glass screen protector does not really fit the 6S and 6S+ with SP lifting at the edges..
*
Looking at your case, it seems to be the screen problem already and not the tempered glass. You can try all types of tempered glass brands and you will most probably experience the same problem.

This happens because most probably the sides of your glass screen is "more curved" compared to the "normal glass screen curve", hence screen protectors cant stick at the sides.

any solution to this type of issue?

will normal SP work?

Imos 3D?
*
No solution for this kind of issue.
It just means that your screen will not be compatible with tempered glasses. Only hope is to try those thin plastic screen protector, mayb the screen protector might be able to stick to the curve parts

Guys

between SPigen Ultra Hybrid & Ringke Fusion Clear, which one is a slimmer case?

Need a good protection case while out cycling but dont fancy to go overboard with Slim Amor type of case as it seem too bulky.

thanks.
*
Technically both are almost the same thickness. Honestly speaking both cases are not much thinner than the Slim Armor
Ringke Fusion slightly better as it has dust cap and lightning port cap

What are u babbling about? IPhone 6 HAS gold color. It started from iphone 5s. Iphone 6s introduced rose gold and it WILL be available in that color for the future iphones.

As i said, only scalpers think those colors are "special edition"
*
What he meant was Apple has officially stopped selling the Gold colour for the iPhone 6
http://www.apple.com/my/shop/buy-iphone/iphone6

So now the iPhone 6 Gold colour becomes like "special edition" and ppl take opportunity to raise the price of the Gold colour

I'm so dead agree with this shit argue.
Even though the battery is only 1700mah small, it still takes a long 2 hours to charge it. Maybe if I use 2.1A would be faster?
*
If not mistaken the iPhone ships with a stock 1A charger, but the iPhone 6/6S can draw more power than 1A.
You could use a 3rd party charger that can provide 2A, it will fasten the charging speed, though dont expect a steep cut in charging hours

Wanna ask, where to get full cover protector including the whole back & side?
Preferably semi transparent type
Is it available?

Thanks
*
You could purchase those skins online (eg. Slickwraps, Gadgetwrap, etc) where they offer full cover protection

now ady have scratches on my 6s body and screen even it didnt drop or knock anything...
*
That is normal wear and tear if you dont use a casing or screen protector nod.gif
Just because you didnt drop or knock your phone does not mean it wont collect scratches from daily usage (eg rubbing against your pocket when you take your phone in and out of it)

I would think these are 2 different classes of iphones.
Small tiny screen 4" vs the more reasonable mainstream 4.7"

And the price bracket is also around 1k difference (We can get a 5.5" xiaomi with less than that)

If anything I would think the SE is just a iphone 5s(s)
*
Well can assume this as the "entry level" for iphone
After all there is no other devices that is running iOS, so this would be the best choice as a starter for iOS

Any comment on this guys?? icon_question.gif

Could it be that the sides of your phone screen is more curved than the average iphone screen?
iPhone has different suppliers for the screen, thus some of the screen sides are more "curved" than normal, thus the problem of the sides of the sp no sticking properly
You could upload a pic of the condition of your sp for us to see

Actually, you are right. Some iPhones' screens are more curved. Mine is one of them. I am now using a PET SP and it's not a cheap one, after unsuccessfully trying a few glass SP. But still prefer TG SP. You know of any which will be able to 'take the curve'?
*
If cant, really cant liao sweat.gif
Whatever sp also will have problem

Maybe you are right or maybe because of the thickness of the film? Mine here 0.4mm thickness.

Here you are for the photos. It is hard to capture clearly as naked eyes.  sweat.gif
*
Yap looks like the problem of your screen already
It is not the thickness of the film, I believe you will face the same problem no matter which film you use

Definitely not a good idea. I'm good with my iPhones, but 6s and 6 plus, it slipped out of my hands (putting in my huge pocket, casually using it, tipping over).

Thank god for tempered glass that saved me RM1.6k for replacement. I spend RM200++ for the tempered glass though.
Means it is the iPhone itself? That's new to me. Does this cover under Apple warranty then?
*
This has happened since the ip6 days already
No, it is not covered under warranty bcos it does not impede the functions of your phone, and also Apple has no obligations to ensure that your phone is compatible with 3rd party accessories

So what do you guys do if your iPhone's screen is more curved? Need to get those edge-to-edge full coverage tempered glass?
*
Of more curved than normal, have to live with it lor
Or tahan with the bubbles at the side

But full coverage (edge-to-edge) tempered glass might be able to hide the part where it is not sticking?
*
Those where the screen sides are "over curved", the full cover glass will not be able to hide the halo effect. The halo effect is quite big and very noticable.

hmmm i know it'll be thicker with the added front and back tempered glass. just wonder if it will still fit other casings since it has become thicker
*
Only the soft tpu type cases might fit
If those cases with hard back plastic, most probably wont fit
But why would you want to put tempered glass on the back if you put on a case?

Hi guys, I want to ask something. I'm a long time android phone user and i want to try Iphone. There's someone selling Iphone that i think it's cheap within my budget.

The condition of the 2nd hand Iphone are,

- Iphone 6s Plus 128GB Silver
- Australia Set
- Warranty till Jan 2017
- A little bit of hairline scratch on the screen

So what's the current price of this 2nd hand Iphone in Malaysia?
*
Take note that you might face warranty claim problems as the set is Australia set. Apple service providers here do not entertain warranty claims for overseas sets the last time i checked
