you had good experience with GEMFIVE?

Not yet, I haven't experienced GEMFIVE, I'm not sure they are reliable or not.

just bought some small toys with price RM11.00 with GEMFIVE.

Shipping done with GDEX and it took 3 days.

all the information on the items is display in front of the packaging.

not quite safe if u bought pricey items such as phones.

Bought my BENQ monitor from them. As advertised. You have to see whose the distributor

Ordered powerbank. Arrived 2 days later. Things in great condition. Gem5 not bad larh. I always buy in new merchant 1 year after establishment.

gemfive or lazada better

Bought few thing from GemFive before, all received within few days in good condition, better if research the seller name in google before you buy since there is no customer rating and review on their website .

I buy from lazada also ok ah

Lazada still the best choice compare to Gemfive.

My item almost 2 weeks still processing until this few days Customer Representative said waiting for Gdex to pick the item from merchant but as stated in the picture, 3 days passed, Gdex still haven't pick the item and Gemfive do not have other option for shipping.

Don't be cheated by Delivery Time: 5-8 working days (WM), 5-10 working days (EM)
There is a hidden processing time as well which claim to be 5-8 days, and yet still counting.

Buy many expensive items from Gemfive, Price ranges from 200 - 2k.
All no problem.
Gemfive is good for buying expensive thing.

Maybe nobody is interested to steal powertools.

what if i have purchased a product with wrongly advertised price, will GemFive honour the price or cancel the order?

I have this happened. The seller cancelled my order and relisted with correct price. Complain to gemfive, nothing happens.

gemfive no stated shipping fee , only can find it out after click ' check out now ' , so lousy

My order took 9 days to arrive. This may take longer if I didnt complain on the 7th day.

Order arrives but the condition of the watch wasnt too good. there are some minor scratches on the watch. Suppose to be Christmas gift for gf but gf saw the scratches complained.

Today is the 8th day of my complain. No action from the customer service and they just reply "sorry" .. "apology will check with.." .. "apology" ... etc.

So, dont buy from GemFive. One time experience is enough for me because I have many other options.

It really depends on the seller. Last time I bought a LG speaker. Took almost a month to reach me. The seller even mailed me the wrong item first time round.
Other occasions I got my s7 edge from gemfive reach in 2 days. Usually what you should do before proceeding with a purchase is ask others about their experience with that particular vendor.

Dont really think its gemfive's fault.

More like its the merchant that sent it slow or sent you one in bad condition.

I bought quite a few expensive items from Gemfive, most of them arrived in 1-3 days in good condition.

Also things in gemfive are more expensive because gemfive has bigger coupons than lazada or 11street.

As mentioned by some already, it's not GemFive's fault. Slow delivery is either merchant or courier fault. Poor product condition is 100% merchant fault.

Do the people here a favor & post the merchant name as well for selling poor condition products.

My only dissatisfaction about GemFive is that they take a HUGE amount of commission from each transaction. So if the merchant don't inflate the selling price, it's much better to buy from Lazada or 11Street from the same merchant.

Decided to give Gemfive another chance and proceed to purchase another item from them. At least the transaction this time went smoothly

Tried to make an address change and it was updated immediately, glad to see they improved on the service.

I still think the Gemfive should take the responsibility. This is why they are charging the high commission for every transaction they receive as you have advised. What I can suggest is for Gemfive to enable merchant ratings so that consumer when they shop, they can know which merchant is good and which are not.

With so many external parties involved, it's practically a challenge to take responsibility over the failures of those external parties. Lazada did that & they incurred huge amount of losses....well not that they're ever profitable anyway.

Merchant rating is indeed a feature highly lacking in GemFive. But depending on how's it's implemented, very few customers actually leave ratings behind.
