The price is quite okay if order from this website. Should I order it? But warranty part will be a hassle though, since you'll have to ship it back to them. http://m.liaow.com/huawei-mate-8-silver.html

QUOTE(Charless8 @ Jan 15 2016, 02:46 PM) for me is super samrtphone but where buy it? You would need to import or buy online for now. Or you could wait until next month, cuz Huawei will most likely launch it here next month.

Wonder how much will be the price for the official Malaysian unit? If it's same price as Mate S RM 2698 (logically Mate S should receive a price drop that time), then it would be worth it.

QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Feb 10 2016, 11:39 PM) I guess this is the first time ever I am tempted to go away from Nexus after a long time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqt6cJnbggkIt was all about the battery mang. I would buy this device solely just because of its battery. But 64GB 4GB ram punya kinda mahal smpai mcm kena buat installment hahahaha! Anyone knows when the official set is coming in? Sometime in March, according to a local tech site.

QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Feb 11 2016, 07:42 AM) Haha still got people read gsmarena review ka. Tgk spec boleh, review jangan. Hehe. Reading GSMArena's review is better than reading PhoneArena's review. PhoneArena's reviews suck banana balls, all are biased to Apple.

QUOTE(cHiLdHo0drEaMz @ Feb 15 2016, 08:20 PM) HUAWEI MATE 8 LAUNCHING IN MALAYSIA IN EARLY MARCH 2016, AVAILABLE IN ALL FOUR COLOURS http://www.lowyat.net/2016/95336/huawei-ma...l-four-colours/Finally some official news about it, been waiting it for a long time. What I'm pissed off is that they're still not teasing the Mate 8, but instead keep advertising the Mate S.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Feb 16 2016, 11:06 AM) I guess for the 4gb ram/64gb should be around rm2k.4-2.6k. I don't think HW can ask for higher pricing as many buyers has still little faith n confidence in the brand I had used before Mate 6.1, X1, Mate 7 n now having P8max n Mate 8 - all these are good phones though they had some minor cons. There is no perfect 10/10 phone yet It's Huawei, they will MAKE IT POSSIBLE. Remember the Mate S? The price is retarded until now, many people expected the price to be way lower lol. My guess would be around RM 2799 - RM 2899 for the Mate 8 64GB. Therefore, our weakening currency would definitely affect the pricing. This post has been edited by xperiaDROID: Feb 16 2016, 11:30 AM

QUOTE(moniqee @ Feb 16 2016, 11:33 AM) nah... my guess is RM3099 look at nexus price... this one should be higher If Huawei chooses to go with that kind of price, then it would suffer the same fate as BlackBerry Priv. Unless, RM 3099 for 128GB then it's okay lah.

I dont follow this device and i just share what i got from my trusty insider. WTF? Are you serious? If that's true, then it will be an instant buy for me. For that price, all flagships prepare to get trumped by the Mate 8 lol.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Feb 16 2016, 02:41 PM) Just hope HW doesn't limit it to the 3gb ram/32 gb version only In Nexus 6p they officially brought in only the 64gb leaving out the 32gb and 128gb models The Champagne Gold and Mocha Brown colors are only available for the 64GB and 128GB variants right? Since Huawei has confirmed that all four colors will be available here, I guess it's safe to say that they will bring in 32GB and 64GB variants?

QUOTE(LongLastFX @ Feb 18 2016, 04:56 PM) Owh men. This is flagship device, but still stuck at FHD display? What's the matter with FHD display? I don't see iPhone users complaining about their FHD display. I would take that awesome battery life over QHD display any day.
