guys I'm having a problem with my redmi note 2 when using snapchat, it seems like it's only exclusive to this device bc i've never seen anyone complain about this on other devices

when i open up snapchat, the viewfinder looks alright as usual, but when i try to record a video, everything turns really dark and it sort of cuts some of the frame and zoom in a bit, I guess they're applying digital image stabilisation to it? If so, how do I turn this off, because in most circumstances, recording is mostly impossible.

Go to Security [Security icon not security setting]-> Permissions-> Permissions->Apps->snapchat.......tick all.

Having the same problem too, but I cant click anything in that menu

Weird.....mine can. When tick it, it promt Accept, Notify and Deny options to select.

Guys, can you view the RN2 screen vertically while wearing polarized sunglasses? I can't view my screen vertically while wearing polarized sunglasses but can only view it horizontally. I know this is usually the case for LCD screens (especially when viewed horizontally) but 2 of my friends' imported RN2 doesn't suffer from this problem. In fact the screen can be viewed both vertically and horizontally while wearing polarized sunglasses.

I am not sure whether this is the case for all local RN2 set or it's just my unit suffering from this problem. Would appreciate it if you guys could check yours.

China ROM or Global ROM? AP or original set?
Never has seen the adware in Global ROM.

Maybe you can try to factory reset the phone, and reinstall every apps.

Best place to buy is at GemFive online store, can get much cheaper price than official RN2 price with discount voucher.

Only the 16GB version of RN2 is the official phone sold and covered by Xiaomi Malaysia.

Other version all are AP set, including the RN3.

AP set... the price was too good to be true afterall.. can i just root the phone and delete all the apps?

Don't know if root can delete all the apps, but recommended to flash global ROM if you don't plan to root.
Or, flash Global ROM, then root it.

You can flash custom ROM as well.

Using screen protector? Some screen protector do have effect with polarize sunglasses.
