Yes you can, it'll be better if you have water heater so that the water won't be too cold for the hedgie.Hedgehog Corner V3, I love Quills!!!

QUOTE(vincent09 @ Sep 20 2007, 12:30 AM) I hold my Bo Chai With cloth, that why i need to learn by hand lo aiyah, for 2 years, u've been holding him like dat?Can show step by step ah if don't mind? then how to build the bond between both of u.. if i wanna pick up sheimi, i use both of my hand then scoop him under his belly because there are soft furs there and it won't hurt ur hand.. at first, the hedgie will fell a bit distracted with the action, but if u hold it the rite way, he will calm down because by holding it that way, they will feel a bit secured and not thinking u as a threat.. if he curl down, wait for a few secs.. but if still don't want to uncurl, use ur finger, touch and circle at the back... as for sheimi, he will always uncurl if i do that.. but now i can't remember when is the last time he curled when i held him.. hehe |

Bro,
Remember not to inbreed okie? not advisable. And also, remember to separate the male once they are weaned (boleh makan sendiri). Cos you do not want to have unexpected hoglets later. Getting pregnant too young for hoglets is not a good idea. All the best. QUOTE(TUICO @ Sep 20 2007, 12:32 AM) there's 3 hoglets...2 female & 1 male.they all survived in healthy condition This post has been edited by sangterap: Sep 20 2007, 03:01 PMok thanks for da' advice.i'll take a gud care of Qyra & let her rest for a while.by da' way i'm planning to keep one of da' female |

Give them some treat if you want, esp mealworms. Some tend to struggle, but some on the other will just stay still. |

Yes, that's why I gave some little suggestions to vincent so that he gets the idea how to handle a hedgie properly. With some time and patience, the hedgie will most probably used to handling and won't be that defensive anymore. |

All hedgehogs have their own personalities.... some are just overall grumpy, some are laid back, some are friendly while some are plain timid.... I can see this with the 3 hedgehogs I have heheheh.
