Do you guys feed some fruits for hedgehog? I'm facing this problem, my hedgehog don't like other thing just only cat food ...., I have try feed apple, pear, orange or vege also don't like. I'm scare my hedgehog won't enought vitamin or will get problem at future.

broken_string is it "rc" is a brand name?
Because the cat food that i feed now, already change the taste already, like abit salty, and my hedgehog also feel like that and not eat much.

Need to find another brand cat food to change. Anyone here can suggest me? I have try Purina, look like quite ok.

I see, last time i found other forum ppl can feed them vege or fruits, ok i will check about that royal canin and orijen cat food.

Hmm my hedgehog fatty already need to call him run more wheel there XD, just buy a new bigger wheel for him.

Eh yao, me also got 1 suger glider too XD.

Hehe, now only know use hand to catch hedgehog is better, i always use a cloth cover it and catch, use hand hold it sometime kena his spike.... XD.

When i giv my hedgehog new wheel, he wont play it ( because the old 1 small for him to play ) after i pick him up and put it on the new wheel... Oh man non-stop run at there , event i take him out also not allow and be a ball warning me

Omg luckly my new 1 is 12". When my hedgehog can't play the wheel, he just step on it by 2 of front foot and roll roll there awhile XD.

But 12" wheel look like hard to find also. I always got Ikiano there.

I'm not sure is it suitable for my hedgehog to play that 12" wheel, because after he step in, my hedgehog nearly 1/2 space inside that wheel.
Ya he still can move inside there.

I buy from Ikiano that pet safari, around rm50 something if not wrong. If got bigger then will be nice for m hedgehog.

Actually i want DIY wheel, but i can't find those Roller for those open window or capboard door, so give up and buy the wheel, until i found the roller i DIY again, at that time want how big wheel also can.

Maybe i go look around for that RM61 12" wheel, my wheel is white and orange color and the wheel like work with roller inside there, quite nice.
RM80 that 1 i aslo didn't see it, maybe have to look 1 more time.

My Hedgehog also like to hide inside the sleeping place, you try let him come out explore c what will happen XD. Sometime i do like that. Make sure your hedgehog won't chase you XD.

Today i go look about the royal canin kitten, there are many type there, got indoor, 34/ , hair ... and other, but what i have see is the most protein will be 35% around with 20% fat, or indoor will be 27% protein and 15% fat, but the dry cat food i use now is purina ( any type also same ) protein will be 38% with 10% fat. Is it better? Or i miss the royal canin that you guys using, can someone list down about the % of protein and fat ?

My hedgehog will come out around 9pm if light off, come out walk walk run run on wheel, after switch on the light, then he act sleeping inside ....
He totally can't sleep after come out play awhile, his eye still blink blink there lol.

Nice la JimBeam101, sometime i remove his house, he stone at there few hour... take him out of the cage also stone at there don't run at all.
Oh ya sometime he lick my hand, but if lick too long he direct bite ....

Man so cleaver that he bite me, because he know i can't touch him at all..... So what i do is take him up with cloth and throw up and down like that. Hehe.

I buy my hedgehog 2 month age only RM 300 if not wrong, Rm 500 can get 1 chincilla already.

Hehe when hedgehog was young, very nice to play, last time the stupid pet shop tell me the wrong info that keep hedgehog inside those turtle plastic box, after that my hedgehog getting hot and skin become red red, so i change to another cage which like hamster that kind like metal + plastic cage for better air flow. On that time my hedgehog know come out from cage because of too hot, sometime i having afternoon sleep, the hedgehog just come out the cage and direct jump down near to my face XD( the hedgehog cage just at my top there... )
But longer and longer time i can't catch it very well, now really hard to play with him already.

rumizu is it ok hedgehog sleep with anything hiding? Althought it will sleep any place but feel like no place let him sleep.

If can make hedgehog less shy and protective also is a good thing.

Ok today morning i have remove my hedgehog sleeping place, see afternoon how was going on, scare later he blur blur whole morning at there.
After i remove the sleeping place, i feel my hedgehog blink blink eye to me ....

Er after i try awhile, feel very "sayang" lo , my hedgehog non stop run at wheel there four 2 hour..... ( man not tired 1? )
I have make mistake about the wheel i buy, i buy the wheel size is 21cm and not 12" ( 12" is it chinchilla that kind big big wheel, I can't fit in my hedgehog cage T-T).

Maybe need to try find the Roller for door or window then only can DIY myself, hard to find those roller at hardware shop.

Actually how the wheel hurt the hedgehog? It is the center of the wheel dirt hurt th hedgehog back or when hedgehog running on the wheel his body become curve and hurt the back bone ?

Hmm maybe need to be quick to DIY a wheel that bigger than 8"
or else change cage with 12" wheel.

I didn't put any box let my hedgehog sleep, i DIY a huge waterpipe and my hedgehog just can sleep inside there, somemore can let him play around with the waterpipe.
