taking a half day off today.. went to a fish shop to buy food for my red eared slider.. after strolling n browsing for about 15 minutes, i noticed dat dis shop also sells hedgies.. but only albinos.. the price is RM 280 each.. but sadly, they don't know how to take car of the hedgies.. there are 4 hedgies in a not so big aquarium, and the aquarium is quite dirty, and the hedgies also looks dirty.. one of them has a red marking on it's quills, afraid to assume the marking as blood.. pity for them.. huhu..

hao.. it's the fish shop nearby the Padang Jambu's traffic light.. i think, the place there is known as Pengkalan Batu..

guys.. maybe for some ppl who are new to hedgies, don't know dat hedgies like to live by itself only, unlike gerbils who need to live in group.. me also don't know dis at first..

btw, very sad when i saw da hedgies there yesterday.. pity for them.. have u n hao went to da shop before?.. at first, juz wanna ask the owner whether they got any s&p.. he said no then knocked at the aquarium wall which written RM 280.. when i asked how old were these hedgies, he looked at me then say: i don't know.. if u want to buy, i can give u discount, and u know what, very hard to get dis animal lo..
just talked to myself, if very hard then u should take a very good care of them..

finally got my hedgie last saturday..
named him Sheimi.. after a legendary hedgehog in Pokemon Pearl..
bought a ceramic bowl for food and drink and a 400g Royal Canine for kitten.. At first, Sheimi just smelled the food then went away.. but this morning, i'm surprised to see him chewing happily the RC..
done shirt bonding.. but will put again today..
but i'm afraid to see him shocked everytime he saw me, huhu..

will he be ok in the future after he had recognized my smell? or hedgie will always be like that (protection purpose)? and one more thing, how much bedding should i put inside the container?

hand feed him? well, i couldn't even get him sit still, i think it's very hard to hand feed him, huhu..
i use thinner bedding rite now, don't want the wood shaving get into the water bowl..
