I read through all the post in this thread, but 1 thing I don't understand..
most of you guys keep the pet in the toyogo box right? How did you all fix the wheel into it?

QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Jul 19 2007, 12:37 AM) Got a suitable cage especially for hedgie. I used this cage for all of my hedgies. I absolutely loved them. Only can get them at PetLoversCentre in Sunway Pyramid. Cost around rm120 with the bottle water tho. And this is the middle sized one. Can get a larger one but i dun remember for how much it sells. Also the large one i dunno if can fit inside a car for transportation or not hmm is it possible to grow it in a toyogo box then transfer to another smaller box like those for rabbits when going out? |

I just came back from Pet Safari..
checked the cage and the wheel and all those stuffs.. btw the biggest wheel is so huge and heavy, is the baby hedgehog strong enough to run?? and there are many types of bedding, which type are you all using?? This post has been edited by GreenNerdy: Aug 23 2007, 10:04 PM |

QUOTE(babymoli @ Aug 23 2007, 10:27 PM) No cage please. Hedgehogs are climbers but they get hurt when they fall. Best is using storage box & most of us here are using it. Get the biggest storage box you can. hmm not cage...the one like Max's...As for the wheel, pets wonderland is cheaper & the size is 12". Don't worry about the baby hedgies, they can run the wheel.. Bedding: Chipsi Classic,Super or Delikate are the brands we use most. No pine cedar... too bad cannot fit the wheel...i'm still considering >< i've got a small storage box at home, around 40x40 cm only... can use that first until the hedgie gets bigger? are hedgehog sensitive to red colour? QUOTE(Mr. Z @ Aug 23 2007, 11:22 PM) Did u read the first page? there is alot of information there... and i think it is best to clear ur doubt first before making a purchase.. yea i did Added on August 24, 2007, 12:11 am QUOTE(almighty @ Aug 23 2007, 11:49 PM) oh no!! please send me a picture how your storage box look like, so i know what to look for. Me and my gf just bought a big cage, and now i just found out cage is bad for hedgehog If i'm not mistaken, most of them are using those slightly transparent big storage box you can get from supermarkets...something like this... ![]() right? How do you all judge how old is a hedgehog?
I went to two different petshop in JB, one has cinnamon another has a salt & pepper..almost the same size.. but one told me the cinnamon is 7 months old, salt & pepper is 4 months old... and how big should a 6 weeks old hedgehog be? -.- |

QUOTE(almighty @ Sep 10 2007, 11:03 PM) guys, i saw a female hoglet ,age 2month selling in Pets Wonderland...Worth to buy it or not?? is RM500 for it.. is it pets wonderland mid valley?i saw 3 at MV pet's wonderland today, 2 salt & pepper, one more dunno cinnamon or albino hiding inside a box i can't really see...all rm488 each...tot of buying but kinda expensive i kinda give up already, searched almost all pet shop i know, even petaling street...kena ffk by one breeder somemore.... Added on September 12, 2007, 12:06 am QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Sep 11 2007, 11:40 AM) up to you dude. but what i personally know right now the female one very limited, almost to no stock in klang valley area. so even if you can get from breeder at rm350 also still consider good buy. rm500 depends on you, if you got some money and it is still young you can highly consider it. my friends have raise his female hedgie price up to rm360. unfotrtunately he doesnt have any, only got 3 all males your friend got hoglet again?
