EDC, for those of you not familiar with the phrase, means Every Day Carry. Essentially it's a phrase or a tag associated with people discussing/showing what they deem important to carry every day in their pockets or backpacks.

For me, it started with a flashlight. Back then it was pretty long..measuring at around 14cm with 2xAA cells. After finding it to be a little too big for my pockets i start surfing around and found other more appropriate types. Lights that uses either 1xAA, 1xAAA, 1xC2 or 1xCR123..reducing it down to as small as 7cm in length.

I dont know why..but i noticed that those who're into flashlights, are usually into knife as well. I would say guns, but since it's not allowed here, i would skip that.

I used to EDC a small folding knife as well together with my light until I joined a government uniform body and understand how serious it could complicate things.

Since then, i have changed from EDC a folding knife to multitool; like those from Leatherman or Gerber.

I agree EDC items are usually seldom needed...but like what the community always say, 'It is better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it'.

Some have questioned me before on wouldnt it be heavy/hassle/troublesome to have those items on your pockets? My answer is simple, 'You will get used to it like how when you first started wearing your underwear'. After a couple weeks, you wouldnt realize it is there unless it pokes you in a peculiar way...jst like your underwear except when you're going to the toilet.

So nowadays, i carry a few items that i felt are necessary with me..flashlight included. Granted many would ask, why flashlight when you already have a cellphone that has LED on it? because in the event you need long term lighting, which usually means emergency and with no one/help around, cell phone battery is crucial for making or receiving calls. It is probably your only life line to the outside world...remove that, and chances for you to survive will probably reduced dramatically.

Anyhow, below are few examples of EDC items other ppl carries. I didnt include those with guns because like what i have said, we're in a different location where gun is not easily available.

i bought a bottle opener key chain 2 years ago, very handy when drinking beers with friends . as for EDC, the key chain that i have mentioned and a lighter... no, im not a smoker... just found it handy as well . the rest are common things like wallet, hp, keys.

Nice..those clip things arent cheap i think.

Though i still couldnt think of additional benefit in having one. Maybe you can share some thoughts on this to open up my mind?

Nice! I wanted to get the peanut lighter..a small stainless stell water-proof capsule where you can unscrew it's top and reveal a mini lighter. But found them rather pricey.. What type of lighter you have then? The normal cricket type or something unique? Share post!

Well, we always like having something on us eventhough we hardly use them..because the single time we need it, is gonna make all the difference.

im really tempted to buy a pocket knife around that price like buck nobleman or kershaw swerve but as you said bringing a knife would complicate things

so i settled for a small victorinox classic keychain for now

the money clip however does have a hidden knife a bit bigger than the victorinox for more heavy task or even self defense if it really comes to that

im using zippo. not like im not using it, i use it everyday morning to light up praying joss stick and then i just keep the lighter in my pocket. as for torch light, i have those RM5 kinetic torch light. they doesnt need battery so its good to have them next to your bed and living room. but they provide min brightness la...

RM150 clip is indeed pretty expensive for money clip.

but u mentioned it comes with a hidden knife..is it something like CRKT's Turtle Knife? Can be used as money clip as well...and pink's suitable for women. On the other hand, such knife if being taken and used in public, wouldnt raise eyebrows.

Cool! Wanted to own a zippo light as well...since its pretty classic..but after looking at it's price ( price again as usual ), i decided to spend RM1 for a cricket lighter, hahaa. I heard it's suppose to be wind-proof or something..ever tried that?

I think so long it's something that could help u out, then min brightness or not also very good d. Better than groping blind in the dark for long period if there's a power cut at night..

Yup..apart from clipping money, i would like to know more as well.

I felt it's cool to have one..but the price doesnt justify for me.. putting a stack of notes in my front pocket works fine most of the time..granted the notes might be crumbled a bit..but since its value is still there...i forego without a money clip so far.

i wouldnt say totally wind proof, but it can work pretty well under moderate windy places. terbalik it and then turn it back up the fire still there.

well, maybe it is time for me to get some scented incense for my room and have that as an excuse to own a zippo lighter.

How long does the wick last before it needs replacing?

You should get it. I bought mine for RM70+-(Basic) + flint/wicks/fluid should be below RM100 last time.

Been using for more than 3years now. People always give me the 'nice lighter' impression whenever i lend them

Only nuisance part is when you have to refill/replace wick or flint but that would only take 5mins

btw nice item to have, very solid.

money clip is a minimalistic alternative for a wallet

it's meant to be use when carrying a bulky wallet is a hassle such as the beach

you can only carry a few notes and cards only though

Yup..definitely bro..very attached to material things. Not to the extend of killing or dying over it..but i cant live without small little gadgets around me..make me feel like i forgot wearing underwear...there's no harm in not wearing, jst dont feel comfy - that kinda feeling.

re flashlight - most of my workplace are pretty well lit. And I have my phone as backup. But once I arrived home and went to dinner (I'm single) then I do carry it, my flat area is still well lit, but it also helpful.

Also, I carry it everytime I went to cinema to look for my seat - ha!

i see. Well, so long ur happy carrying it then. But those little suckers do come handy once a while at the least expected moment..

Alot of tools and gears got their price increased as well due to currency conversion. Some hike are pretty low but those high ones, like the one u mentioned...that's really saddening. I wanted to get additional quikclot as spare..but on average price increases like RM20~30 a pack. What used to be RM40+ become close to RM70...and RM90+ becomes RM110+..

My EDC consist of:-

- flashlight (123A powered)
-a small boot knife
-necessary ID and documents
-phone
-watch (never get out without it)
-small self pack first aid
- touch n' go with some money

-odd thing that I carry is a pair of switchable sunglasses, the yellow lens comes in handy for preventing night glare from in coming headlight

- used to carry pepper spray but got taken away by police so don't carry it now


now I am debating if I should left my knife at home or not since I travel via public transport and my place is quite dark (no street lights) and I don't have pepper spray anymore and I commute alone everyday.

any advice on this will help...

well, i do carry stuffs most of the time and those stuffs are HEAVY!!! other than the usual stuffs (phone and wallets) i have:
- game console (either 3DS or psv, or both)
- notebook & stuffs (adapter, mouse and sometimes a portable hdd/ dvd R)
- misc (mixture of gaming stuffs like game cartridges, power extensions, newspapers, headsets, etc)

the whole bag would weight close to 2.6kg and it's kinda a labour for some, but... it's exercise!!!

You can carry the knife if you want, so long it's not full-size. Coz i think most PDRM knows that ppl who carries small folder like us dont go out and rob others. Since a Parang does a better job in term of intimidation and hurting others. But of course there would be other over zealous cops that would still confiscate them. My advice, carries one..but with the lowest cost u felt it's ok to be confiscated. At least one that wont make us go hide in a corner and cry 5 mins..

And wat light is that? I EDC a RCR123 as well...Olight's S10R Baton..my pocket rocket..

Comparing your RM156 vs R276...that's one huge diff.

Do share your review on it once you EDC them. Wonder if it's gonna be comfy in front/back pocket?

Over here, always carry the cheapest knife you can afford to lose..i only bring out my expensive knives when going hiking/camping. Else it's always a below RM200 knife. Never know the cop we're bumping in will be moody or not and proceed to a body search, lol. Though *touch wood* so far never had one....

Yes there is. Check out thomastool....and if you purchase from overseas, so far i have not have any problem with Kastams. But my last purchase was easily 2yrs ago...am trying to support local as much as possible even if it is a little weeee bit more expensive. Without them, it's gonna be more difficult to get our gears.

the glowlight was rm50, bought a couple yrs ago.
i also got the cheaper glowring firefly, but the tube so small its kinda pathetic...can sometimes be hidden by the keys rendering it useless

I got the really small glow-in-the-dark tube as well..pretty small around 2cm i think. But as it is glow in the dark, need to 'charge' with light before it can shine...and since it's probably 6yrs i have been having them, hardly can hold any 'charge'...but oh yea it's cheap. I guess cheap stuff no good, good stuffs no cheap.

Though earlier i said i didnt EDC folder knife anymore, i do it occasionally on Fri and weekend, where i will spend most of my time outdoor instead of inside office.

- Survival bracelet with whistle and fire-starter. Tried couple times but i didnt see any sparks..need to learn more from youtube on how to make those sparks hahaa

- RCR123 Olight S10R Baton..my pocket rocket with max 400lumen. The only downside, it's side-switch; at least to me..prefer back clicky. Need to spend a second or half locating the side switch usually.

- Leatherman Wingman. Bought this online...comes together with a Style PS. And bloody cheap as well..got both INCLUDE shipping from USA at only RM150 AFTER conversion..but that's few yrs ago when our currency's around 3.1~3.3.

- Gerber Paraframe, cheap and light with the drill out holes. Bought at aroudn NZD30+ back then...doesnt hold edge very long. But for that price, no complain...and wont break my bank if confiscated..but will break my heart though since been EDCing it so long, got a bit of feeling liao.

- Got this from a forumer here..checked out the same model being sold at Ace Hardware at around RM100..i bought at half the price. lol.. Tested it on a pc of tissue and take a whiff..yup, got teary eyes. So should work if kena direct face.. Those China brand XX brand is terrible though...direct smear on my cheek doesnt make me feel anything. But i see alot ppl buying in FB..sigh....imagine relying on tool that wouldnt work when you needed them most and instead, anger the perpetrator further.

Agree i have read the tritium doesnt need charge and will only drop in brightness after 10yrs.. so it holds up so far for you? How many yrs already and brightness still good?

I carry two type of CR 123A type flashlight as I find they are brighter and more longer lasting than any AA or AAA batteries, my pocket ready one are Surefire 1A Titan and I have a backup Surefire BK-Y300 in my bag - the ability to switch to a blinding 500 lumen seems vital to me since I have to walk home alone in a sometimes dark street when the streetlights are not working and both of them are small enough to be discreet.

I carry a CRKT Sting 3B in my pocket and more worried of those 'hantu' than planning to rob anyone with it. I use parang when I go hiking even then the journey there and back are a tense one as well. Do you know what classified as full-size knife in Malaysia? Just want to be clear.

Well, the story of my pepper spray got confiscated is at Sentral KTM by some 'over-zealous' police and they question me if I know the consequences if I were to use this in a public place? Dumb question if you ask me and nobody in the right mind would do that in an over crowded place... Oh by the way, they told me it is illegal to bring anything that can cause bodily injuries to anyone (which brings to the question - should I aim for the groin?)

I have to admit they are kind of expensive but their LED will not lose their brightness over time as fast as other I have used before.

There are no lowest lumen that I am aware off, just max of 300 lumen that is in par of the standard issue the police is using, correct me if I'm wrong... 75 low lumen is good for night walking without jeopardizing you night vision and cars to notice you

Sides they have dual/tri-brightness, and they have it in AAA now instead of the more costly CR 123A batteries that I'm currently using. They are mini and won't cramp up your pocket.

yeah i think those cops are overzealous by confiscating a non lethal personal protection item of which it was supposed to be

i mean why would people sell it openly if its not meant to be carried

suppose by law we are able to bring a knife with a blade not exceeding 3 inch but i wouldn't risk it

a full loaded pepper spray that is not expired or near expiring will have a good two to three spray depends how hard or how long you press. don't buy those mini cute one, they don't even have enough range for you to make an escape.

I have no idea why I was picked by those fanatics that day, I was asked have my bag searched along with a handful of people there (luckily they didn't found my knife in my pocket )

being pepper spray sold everywhere are a huge question for me, well I will never find why the police decided to take it.

The Sting is a dagger bro..i think cops view dagger and knife differently. So better careful with that.

And yes, i agree with you on the pepper spray..it's basically being sold EVERYWHERE...if we cant carry them, then they should have prevented those big brand shops from selling.. That's very low profile indeed. Unless someone has it or has seen one, probably most would think it as a card-sized money clip. Good concealment

i think if u want and EDC light, u should consider the size.. I heard Olight jst came out with the smallest CR123 light...looks like the S10R Baton but shorter by 2-3cm.. it's called the S1 or S1R..forgot which. But if you have big hands, u mind find it awkward holding, hahaa...it's indeed very small with max lumen of 500. Another pocket rocket.

Usually for practical outdoor use, u need to have at least 80~120 lumen..like u know when even with street light, there might be some corners or bushes blocked by direct light....80~120lumen will light up that area a little..anything lower and it might be very dim. Best if you can have anything range from 5 ~ 500, which i would suggest the Olight S10-R Baton, hehee..the one i am EDCing now. Very small..measure 7cm long only. Clipped in front pocket, didnt know it's there while walking...squatting down sometimes need some adjustment..apart from that, it's oerfect. And it takes recharges..instead of CR123 which costs around RM10~Rm12 a pc....

On pepper spray, get those reputable ones...they will have description like how many shot is expected and how long it will be able to discharge if you're to press down continously. On top of that, it will explain the distance, spray type (line or cone) and expiry date. Cheap one usually wont have this info..and the key chain ring is suppose to be located at the bottom...those located on top are usually cheapo types. The ring at the bottom is to act to strengthen ur grip by looping through your pinky finger. Ring on top sometimes might get in the way of the trigger...stuck when you're pressing the trigger. Go mace.com and read their description..u will get a rough idea of how good reliable pepper spray suppose to be. And also, cheap ones only tell u the date of manufacture...better quality type tells u that as well as it's expiry.

And if i may add on light, usually they come in either Cool Tint or Neutral Tint...as well as flood or throw.

Cool Tint - white in color
Neutral Tint - a little orange/amber like old school incandescent light

Flood - practical for indoor when you need more area to be lit especially in room. Usually this means the reflector is an Orange Peel (rough surface)
Throw - practical for outdoor..but if you have room for only 1, get this..since watever flood can do, throw can as well..but not the other way round. If in room/indoor when you want flood, point towards ceiling...unless ur in warehouse, then well..too bad lol

Again, consider Olight's S10R bro for EDC...definitely will make u wanna go out every night and jst shine at something far.. lol

I never own a victorinox..but my brother does.
I compare my wingman's scissor with my brother's victorinox..and..............................the vixtorinox scissor felt better. It's more gentle on the thumb and cuts smoother....

so if scissor is gonna be used often, dont get the Wingman multitool....try out others instead unless u wanna get a victorinox.....

I used Leatherman multi-tools before, although it feels solid but the knife is cheap (manage to break it, luckily got unlimited lifetime warranty in US) and one thing is the size is too big for a women's hand and their women's version is nothing but a pink color piece of junk

That is the reason I am very weary of getting any multi-tools every since, glad to hear a good review for victorinox - a reason to set aside a budget for it

Both of my Surefire runs on rechargeable CR123A batt, the run time might be a little lack when compared to the non-rechargeable one but it is enough for me, Surefire sells the re-chargeable one and it still hold an ample amount of charge after 2 years of using. The BK-Y300 have a quick detach holster which is a magnet holster, it is very useful in situation where you need light fast. Can I know what type of nite-ize holster you bought, curious...

Which type of pepper spray you prefer, line or cone? I personally prefer line one since it can be used on slightly windy day without the mist coming back at me.

Now, you are making me having a serious consideration wherever to carry my Sting around or not (with those foreigner living in my neighborhood...) Can you explain the difference between a dagger and a knife, from the cops point of view; need to know as much as I can since I commute using public transport everyday...

If I may add something to your third post is if you want to use the flashlight as a self-defense tool (to temporary blind someone) yellow tint light is not an option, many experts agree with this as well as from experience - almost got rob before and I blind him before making a run for it

Yup...its BIG offence by the way...i have asked police before, and its really illegal and dangerous...especially during previous OPS Cantas...

I wont recommend it...but i value my life and property...

Those 'ninja card' has its use? I got one, but seems like nothing usable...

the scissors for me is only useful for cutting small stuff - it is a small cutter anyway, or personal grooming

in terms of pocket tools, i actually prefer my leatherman squirt ps4, but its abit too heavy...weighs 39.5gms compared to the 20.8gms of the vic classic.
yes, barely 20gms difference but u will feel it in ur pocket.

from the cops point of view, any knife thats not a swiss army, and i was told legally under 4"...can get u in trouble.
of cos it depends on what environment u are in etc...be dumb to confisticate it if u are in a jungle

and if u are decent in hand to hand, a decent tool is of cos the keys in ur pocket...or can fix a strike bezel onto ur light if possible...which usually are limited to the tactical lights.

I like leathermen product as they have unlimited lifetime warranty in US but I'm not sure if this is the case in Malaysia. I keep a multi-tool in both my office and home as they are very handy and sturdy, just wish my hands are bigger to have a nice grip around it.

My blade only register under 3.2" inch but I might consider not carry it now since my pepper spray has confiscated already.

I am not very well verse in hand to hand but I do know how to handle a knife very well, the strength difference between gender makes me use knife as a last resort since light blinding is more effective.

mang u put it to use d? how it fares? can share some review?

i read a few review and seems like there are few issues, eventhough it's pretty cool and handy to have a small blade hidden..

Issues i read..pls share ur experience :
1) the button block u from withdrawing the blade if u put too many cards like 3 and few notes. need to remove the card/bill before can draw
2) the button (blade grip) scratches easily
3) the blade has poor edge retention...and even without using, will be blunt coz when u insert/draw, it will grind against it's own sheath

Small enough to carry in a wallet and passes through security checkpoints. Its basic, but has the essential tools. When travelling I carry a more comprehensive kit for emergencies.

Looks good.. can be stashed together with keys. most ppl wouldnt notice thinking it's jst another key.. good concealment... and looks handy as well.

i usually dont use pc at home so typing this on a tablet is a hassle so i rather waited to get back to office

after a month or so using the clip i can say it's not for everyone

the clip itself is quite weighty, very well built

the blade is not that sharp but it's quite thick

my little victorinox is sharper out of the box

this thing is not for someone who got many cash and cards to carry

for me i only carry my license my ic mykad and a few cash less than a 100 mostly

i've tried many ways but the easiest is by taking out all the notes and slip it back again

i like that my back pocket is free now

about the issues

1) yes if you put too many cards or cash you cannot pull out the blade so it's best to just bring 3 cards like me and a few notes under 50 ideally

2) if you kept pulling out the blades the coating will get scratched surely. same with the gerber logo in the middle

3) the blade itself is not that sharp for me so i dont know about this but i rarely play with the blade anyway

The 3 cards + few notes is a turn off liao…I mean we have to take out at least 3 cards already; 1 MYkad + 2 driving license albeit these 2 are jst laminated ones.
Then definitely need Credit Card for emergency..so left with very little space.

But for a minimalist, I guess it’s pretty good.

anyhow, good to know ur getting another knife into your collection...and yup, buck nobleman looks very gentleman indeed. sleek and nice finish.

But ever consider getting a H1 knife from spyderco? i have decided to get one in my next purchase...since i seldom have time to oil my knife, it's only a matter of time before they rust..at the minimum, the screws will rust a little.

So plan to get 1 H1 series blade and stop getting new one after that...some says they cant retain sharpness, but at the price of rust and maintenance free, looks like a reasonable exchange for me. 1 knife that's gonna be there permanently..



And if you're planing to get a sharpening device/tool, consider Lansky's 4-rod turn box..cheap and easy to use.

I got the Lansky's Professional System...but need to screw individual stones when want to use and repack them after use so quite a long process.

Aye. I think last month i saw this brand..seems like widely available now. And it's usually below RM100. So far i havent google for more info apart from it's from china.

Try chcking out those US forums, usually they will give indept review like steel type, hardness, edge retention and finishing...

but i guess if it's seldom heard of, then chances are it might not be as good....kinda like u pay what u get.

But if it's ur usual EDC, not those forest dweller or camping purpose, then why not? Can give it a try..then share ur review here as well. i am curious to find out too..

I'm a big fan of Victorinox. I have multiple models for various usage:

Spartan: Everyday home use.

Classic SD: for shopping purse.

Ranger: Hiking, backpacking.

Bantam: Work.

Waiter: Work backup, with extra corkscrew attachment that's useful for unraveling knots.

But the one I carry the most with me is the SwissCard Lite since it's always in my wallet.

The Huntsman is very similar to Ranger, but lacking the file. I'm happy with Ranger as I've used the file and metal saw a few times. Last time I used my friend's Huntsman to trim the mango tree at my house, since then I've been wanting a Victorinox with a saw attachment!

Bantam


Bought the Bantam for RM45 at an outdoor store. Online the Bantam costs nearly RM70 not including postage, crazy! Since Bantam is so cheap, I wouldn't mind lending it to colleagues. But now it's probably my favourite Victorinox after the Ranger. It's so compact and useful!

I also have a Leatherman C33x which I intended for work, but it's not as sharp as Victorinox, nor do I like the ragged edge. So I bought the Bantam instead as the main knife for work. Plus, I need the can opener.



As for flashlights, I love my Fenix E05! So does everyone in my family, they always want to steal it It's so small and yet so bright. During blackouts if I set the flashlight to stand on its own so it will shine at the ceiling, it actually produces a brighter illumination compared to using candles. The E05 is about the size of a AA battery (it uses AAA battery). I can't be bothered with using a flashlight with non standard battery, it's too much of a hassle to acquire them.

Wah..that's one nice collection u got there on Victorinox! I guess u get most of those victorinox coz u love having them..rather than getting 1 that suits all occasion. Hehee...dont worry, i am guilty of such thing as well

On the Bantam, it comes only with knife and those screwdriver, tweezer and can opener right? And the Ranger doesnt come with a Plier? I find plier to be very very useful..

For the swiss card, how thick is it? 2 credit card thickness? Wonder how it feels to be slipped into a wallet?

And nice Fenix light! I have like 8 Fenix lights...but right now i only EDC Olight Baton due to it's small size, ease of recharge and 550 lumen on a RCR123

Thanks! Haha it's more like being lazy to move them around. For example the Classic SD is always in my purse that I use for shopping. It's too much of a hassle to move it to my work bag or worst, I might forget to move it back and then not having it when I need it most.

One time I was at a shop, it was late and I wanted to go home. Had been searching for an item all day without success and only found it at the store. The item was tied/locked to the display shelf and every staff ignored me. Angered, I used my tiny 58mm Classic SD to cut though the clamshell packaging of the product, to the shocked face of cashiers and then angrily took the product to the cashier and paid. The moral of the story is, even though the 58mm Victorinox looks cute and flimsy, it's a sturdy beast!

The Bantam is single layered so it's compact. It has the standard tweezer, toothpick, blade and the combination tool with flat screwdriver, can opener, bottle opener and wire stripper. The Alox variation is even more slim and compact, but the tweezers are too important to give up.

Yeah the Ranger don't have pliers, but I was after the wood saw and the scissors XD

The SwissCard is about 3 card thickness. It does add a slight bulk to the wallet, but it's been so useful on various situation so I'm willing to overlook the mild inconvenience. In fact, I used the pen tool just now because I forgot to bring a pen heh. The SwissCard is very sturdy, as in the tools won't fall out even if shaken violently. There are fake copies being sold though so I advise looking at YouTube vids to notice the difference. Also be careful to not bend the card too much, like sitting on the wallet.

Even though the Fenix E05 only has 27lumens, it's still blinding. I like the newer E05 because it has 3 different lumen settings. My older model can't be used in close distance because it's too bright. It's also a twist-on type so not really suitable for self defence. I'm thinking of getting another Fenix just for fun, but haven't decided which. I was interested in the E10 but it can't stand on its own so I haven't gotten yet.

for new year i purchased myself a gerber dime. it will be my daily edc. contain stuff i use most.

Sometimes I also try getting multiple same gears to put them into different bags. But those are limited to cheap gears like RM1 cricket lighter, permanent marker, G-lock carabiners and some clip ties. Coz like u, sometimes I also afraid I might forgot to put them into the bag I will be carrying on that particular day. And after thinking for couple weeks, I have concluded in order to keep my expenses down, and at the same time ensure I have everything I need in diff bag, I opted to get this :



Something like Maxpedition micro pocket organizer..but as it is expensive, I get a brandless type…still costs close to RM60 tho..

So jst stuff everything into that pouch/pocket organizer, then whenever I change back, jst pull up the pouch and xfer to the nxt bag. That way I have everything inside… So you can consider that as well, since u carry hand bag, I assume ur a lady and as such, definitely have more than 1 handbag lol

I have the leatherman style CS..hold a tiny blade like your Classic SD I think, but pretty sharp as well..so yup, those definitely comes in handy at the least expected moment..

Ever consider getting a plier type multitool?
If u want cheap and reasonable, try Leatherman Wingman or Sidekick..sidekick comes with the saw as well. And like they say in EDC community, 3 is 2, 2 is 1 and 1 is none. And we always need a backup fr our backup tools…

I take it u prefer triple A light since it’s slim, small and easily available in term of batteries. I seldom go for Triple A due to it’s short amount of time, the only triple A light I have is Fenix HL10..figured I would need a flood…but end up purchase a Fenix HP25 headlamp for flood pulak.. lol
For EDC purpose, I always stick to either single AA or Single RCR123 on body…sometimes both as a backup to each other lol. In my bag always goes the bigger 18650 light with loads of spare cells.

If you plan to try out RCR123, Olight’s S10R baton is highly recommended…but make sure u get the latest version coz older one don’t have quick charge USB platform…or if u want even smaller pocket rocket, Olight S1R…smaller than S10R by around 5mm or so.. u will be amazed if u manage to get ur hands on one…


Oh btw, jst something to share…not anything significant, but I was waiting for my wife the other day and there’s a Guardian pharmacy nearby…spent around 40mins browsing while waiting..then chance upon alcohol swap. It’s a pack of 10pcs, individually packed…at around RM1.20 or so…very convenient so grab 20pcs and split them into different bags/pouches of mine. Never know when might come handy..

2) Internet banking token ( on keychain )

Aaaand I just bought a Victorinox Minichamp XD Originally wanted a Rambler for the Philips screwdriver, which was a step up from Classic SD.

But I saw the MiniChamp first (the Rambler had an effective camo design lol) and decided to get MiniChamp because it's my dream Victorinox for the 58mm category. It's only a difference of about RM60 but MiniChamp has a lot more tools. It'll be my new EDC

I rarely use a plier and already have a full sized plier at home so don't really need one Some of my purses are smaller than your tool bag haha. So I'll stick to my MiniChamp XD

Yea I picked AAA battery flashlight for portability. It's for my shopping purse as shopping complexes in Sabah sometimes will have blackouts lol. I don't use it heavily and IIRC only changed the battery for the first time in a year and a half, plus that was the battery that came with the flashlight. So it's very economical despite the bright output.

I know about the alcohol swabs, my brother uses it for PC maintenance heh.
