There's also NanKang in this size but depending on your budget, Falken would be a better performer amongst the two. smile.gif

is Yoko AD08 available already?

It available now from parallel importers..YHI is not bringing 'em in yet..

But take note...I got a very rude shock...AD08 for my size is 'made in Philippines' vmad.gif

Nearly traded in my newly purchased AD07 for that....so no deal.

I hope the ones YHI brings in are Japan rubber...have to wait a few months more.. shakehead.gif

hi guys, have to change my tyres soon. anyone can give recommendation for 205/50/16 tyres? The tyres should have good grip in the rain and provide a quiet ride. Anything under RM300 per tyre.

at this point I am interested in Michelin PP/PP2 and Bridgestone AR-10. Any comments would be helpful. Thanks.

azbro, so your upcoming replacement is AD08(made in Japan)? brows.gif flex.gif

I am not sure how true is this, some said tires made in Tomyamland or others are inferior in some ways.. ¿

if i'm not misaken.. tomyamland tyres are made and tested on a similar weather.. whereby japan tyres are made and tested on their weather which is pretty much different from us..

hence the rumors that tomyamland tyres last longer on our roads..

pls correct if i made a mistake smile.gif

Tomyam, Indon or Philippines tires sure last longer on our roads...but ppl buying AD08 care abt ultimate grip more than anything else...so I'm very pissed off to know AD08 have gone down the drain....but lets wait for the main importers YHI before anything else...

if you oledi used the PP2, going for the 912 or C drive you are going to be disappointed...

If i were you, I would go for the V12, S drive or RE001.

Why V12 Evo? smile.gif I rather spend a bit more for proven tyres like S-drive which I feel has very good grip in dry/wet.

Yeah...we are not sure which Falken...

One advice I can give....with Falken...only get the top range, top rated Ziex, Azenis and FK (ZE912, RT615, ST115 and FK452)...so that means...the rest are mostly crap (5XX and 3XX series)
