For the 7th generation Accord, the original tyres are 205/60/R16 so if I want to change to 17" rims, what tyre profile would it be? I believe it'll be 225/50/R17? How much does that cost roughly?

On the first page, the price list between Toyo T1R and Michelin PP2 is only RM390 and RM380 respectively for 215/45/R17. If that's the case, shouldn't the T1R be a better choice?

That's terrible sad.gif Normally when you change tyres, it'll include balancing/alignment but probably the profit margin from the tyres are too small so they have to charge extra.

Is it possible to change 1 tyre to a different brand ah?
My wira's SIME tyres are freakin bad and the other day, 1 tyre flat already..so f to change....
I wabt to change to bridgestone tyers but unfortunately I dont have the money to change all four now...so maybe just change 1 first, then change the other 3 next month..
*
Normally people will do it in a pair at least but preferably change all four at one go. Why not you consider Hankook? It's cheap and I believe it's better than Sime?

Anyone knows how much does it costs (roughly) for 225/45/R18? I'm looking at tyres like Toyo T1R, Michelin PP2, Yokohama S-Drive range, etc.

I would say the PP2 has the shortest life span considering Michelin tyres are majority soft compound rubber. Great grip, poor lifespan.

Maybe you should try Toyo T1-R then compare again smile.gif After that you'll see which has a shorter lifespan.

Why V12 Evo? smile.gif I rather spend a bit more for proven tyres like S-drive which I feel has very good grip in dry/wet.

i heard toyo T1-R is really good in dry, but it doesn't last long for it's superior in grip.
*
I've heard the same comments but never tried T1-R. You can go for Yokohama S-Drive as they are pretty good.

I called Tek ming just now. He recommended Hankook V12 and V8 i think. One is RM286 and another is Rm245 for 205/55/16. I know Michelin MVX8 is good but it might be close to RM400.  sad.gif

Any other brands to recommend? Continental?
*
You can try Yokohama

Thanks for reply, by the way I am 1st time changing tyre.
Another question here. A lot people in this forums say trade in Old Tyre got some price deduction.
How this work? Does every shop do that? smile.gif
*
It means you're trading your current tyres for a new one and no, not every shop do it smile.gif
