EA specifically mentioned the document must come from a third party not related to my company. So company reference letter is out. Will figure out something anyway. Thanks

QUOTE(tatty89 @ Apr 29 2016, 11:13 PM) SD is an option. Thought of giving bank statements since monthly bank statements show the salary credited to my account. Attach it together with my pay slips, the figures will match and won't make them doubt anymore ACS was a little bit simpler... both options are doable but just ensure that's what they want... if you prepare the bank statements and payslips for EA, you can use it again during the visa application, saves some effort |

Sounds like bullshit. |

What happen if... I secured a job which employer willing to sponsor subclass 457 visa (I accepted, visa processed etc) and I'm subsequently granted approval in principal for subclass 190 PR visa (skilled nominated visa)?
I've 2 options here. Continue with 457 visa without incurring additional costs to complete the formalities for 190 PR visa. That mean to say I need to decline 190 visa approval in principal. It is also stated in my employment contract that subject to performance, the company will support for PR application after 1 year - something along this line. The other option is to proceed with 190 PR visa and then inform HR about this? Can anyone advice which is a "better option". I only have basic understanding between 457 vs 190 visa (reading via public info) but are there any practical considerations that I should really take note? Nb: At this stage I just want to experience and gain exposure only (I haven't made my mind to settle down yet). The only reasons that I applied 190 visa was purely to secure a job. Some friends adviced that I've been thus far in this application then why not to proceed. 190 PR supported by VIC state and my offer is also in Melb. I plan to buy a property and a car. Property wise - for own stay but in the event I don't like Melb city and I will take it as investment property. Car - I'm supposed it's necessary since I may need to travel a lot to client's place + petrol subsidized by my firm. Thank you. This post has been edited by z21j: Apr 30 2016, 04:32 PM |

Just go ahead with both as you will never know when your company decides to terminate you. The $3k ish plus for the PR is insignificant to the issues that you may potentially faced by your employer (e.g. Redundancy).I've 2 options here. Been through what you've described and was very fortunate that the company decided to reimburse my PR cost as well. |

QUOTE(Aidan.900 @ Apr 29 2016, 05:25 PM) That's bloody cheap. You were lucky to have been charged such a low rate by James. If you look at his current price, it's 13k Aussie, not including other fees for 'additional services'. But I wonder if his reputation has hit rock bottom a long time ago, there are still people getting conned by him and other agents everyday and what's the reason ? Nemesis, I submitted all my docs after the case officer asked for additional info. But after nearly a month, there is still no reply. How long did your officer take to grant your visa ? Which stage you're in now? The moment they request u to submit medical and police clearance, will grant u less than 2 weeks |

After 3 weeks, there is still no reply from the officer in charge of my case. I think I may have been rejected, since you said it takes only 2 weeks or less to approve your visa after getting your docs. |
