he purchased multiple lots in AAX before it hit 0.55. then before the blood bath but he traded them away. That was right before the announcement of the Q1 report.

also he himself teased about the merger between AAX and Tune pro via the media. hence why everyone was clamoring to buy into AAX. then yesterday he emphasized that he is not merging.

All this because of the China deal was falling through. now no news. I'm not even angry at him it's a masterstroke of a maneuver

add on he increased pay for airasia staffs and you know when someone increases the staffs pay rather than rewarding the investors you know something is up

my two cents

I bought AAX at 0.75 cent and holding until now still can't get any fruity result after so many years moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif

Tripled down on OldTown. Double down on Tong Her. Entered PetronM.

Note: No bloodbath in Airasia. Only in OldTown.

What is your rational to add on Oldtown?

I have a margin of safety of about 62% for OldTown. That was my unrealized profit before it crashed. I bought more when it crashed -18% and then recovered to -10%. Now my unrealized profit is about 19%. Still acceptable.

I will wait for the next QR before deciding further.

thats the only way to interpret NTA?
*

[/quote]
some player analyse and value company based on the company intangible assets and projected earning based on announced new project etc... too.
Given NTA vs current market share traded how much market perceived the growth earning power , intangible assets or etc.
As many guru said before, investment is like art more than science.

Just imagine you bought a piece of land 30 years ago RM10k without any revaluation, in this case NTA obviously is not a true indicator for the land right?

Imagine the you buy a,

Company A vs company B both have the exact same NTA. Company A no more generating profit while company B still making profit above FD rate lets say. Obviously company B is worth more than company A.

There are lot of books teaching teachinh these financial ratio. But if you personally involve in business, it helps you to understand better i would say. tongue.gif

Sorry for long wind post rclxub.gif

Jeez, all bleeding. It doesn't seem to matter anymore whether the QR is good or bad. The stock will still bleed. Look at PIE for e.g.

of course bleed lah when people compare Q416 to Q117
when myr was trashed and foreign investors ran to us to enjoy Trump's win. sometimes the Malaysian market reminds me of that fidgety guy who gets nervous about everything and jumps at every scare.

Time to chill, have a few beers, lift some weights, read a good book and come back when Mr. Market stop acting irrationally.
