QUOTE(valan @ May 25 2017, 08:59 AM) This is uncle gark punya stock. It's a holding company. Historically, very kedekut and the stock price dun move much. Typically in the range of .7x to .9x. But today Insas is moving. Now up 4.8%.

QUOTE(Vanguard 2015 @ May 25 2017, 10:21 AM) AirAsia rebound already today but AAX still bleeding, now down -4.44%. Yeah. I'm just trying to calm my nerves and not give up and press that sell button because someone or some entity is actually buying up all the aax shares by the lots

QUOTE(Avangelice @ May 25 2017, 10:33 AM) Yeah. I'm just trying to calm my nerves and not give up and press that sell button because someone or some entity is actually buying up all the aax shares by the lots I topped up AirAsia by another 1/3 today at the price of RM3.060. Much more expensive than yesterday's price. Their latest QR will be released after the close of the market today. Hope for the best.

QUOTE(river.sand @ May 25 2017, 09:57 AM) Lotus (the car maker) was 'cash flow positive' in 2016. What does the 'cash flow' here referring to? Means cash masuk lebih dari cash keluar lo

QUOTE(shankar_dass93 @ May 25 2017, 01:34 PM) Are you planning add more to average down or you're just going to hold it ? I'm keeping to my goals which is to invest because of the company not in the price of the shares. That said I'm holding on without adding more. (No more bullets to play anyways, need money for that engagement ring)

QUOTE(screwedpeep @ May 24 2017, 05:34 PM) No, it's not about gross/net profit. Gross/net profit you see when you read financial reports to see where have the moeny gone/come from, to see they're doing good or not. When you want to know about a said stock, the financial ratios will always show DY based on final dividend. It's more wholistic to see how the stock doing in one complete financial year instead of one quarterly result. When to use interim dividend as basis for calculating DY? Well, one of the times is when you want to know DY of your investment if not yet one year and you want out. Let's say you go in Feb 13th. Interim dividend for first quarter is 10c, ex date is may 20th. Then you decide to get out on may 27th. You're eligible for the dividend. Then you can use interim dividend as your basis for DY to calculate how much have you exactly gain/loss for that particular stock. Thanks for the clear explaination. Learning way to go..

I swapped PChem with Insas.
I placed an order for Insas this morning at RM0.960 but I then cancelled the order. Now I bought at a higher price of RM1.010. It is currently up 8.108%.

Will AirAsia suffer a bloodbath like AAX tomorrow? AirAsia 1Q net profit down 30% on higher fuel and staff costs, stronger US Dollar. This post has been edited by Vanguard 2015: May 25 2017, 06:23 PM
