Whose call is it to redeem or not? Is it redeemable at full discretion of the company?

If yes, I think it's fair to treat it as equity.

I just came into the office. Wah, so many posts here already.

Currently I am eyeing Homeriz. The price has been falling. The company is cash rich and pays good dividend. Potential upside is 13.85%.

Any sifus holding this counter?

Hmm, you have a good point there. But it is a gamble. If I buy now and the QR sucks, then the share price may plunge. On the other hand, if the QR is good, then the share price may spike. Then I have to chase like mad on the day the QR come out. Decision, decision.

if you really going to trust analyst TP, you might as well buy Ekovest for 83% 'upside potential'.

Don't have such upside potential wor. Vanguard's balls only shows an upside potential of 23.80% for Ekovest. But I am not really interested in Ekovest for now.

I am looking for stocks with good DY. Otherwise my heart cannot take it.

You need to do more indepth research lar... otherwise misleading.

GFM is a RTO from AsiaEP, so it is essentially a new company, past results is irrelevant.

NTA is 14 SEN.. not RM based on diluted shares
EPS is 0.59 sen based on diluted shares.

So at current price you are looking at PE 27X, PBV 4.71, even if they pay 40% dividend the expected DY will be  1.43% only

Sorry not my cup of tea,...  yawn.gif

P/S : I did all that research in less than 10 minutes.. so no excuse for not doing due diligence.  tongue.gif

Paiseh gark, wanna ask a quick question on how you calculate to get the NTA as 14 cents ya? The NTA i know is total equity/total number of shares correct?

The way to calculate NTA is to first go to the company's balance sheet, take the total assets, deduct all intangible assets (the two big ones are usually labelled 'Goodwill' and 'Intangibles') and then deduct total liabilities. To get the NTA per share, you divide this figure by the number of shares outstanding.

The usual criteria bro. Look at the overall performance of the company, ie EPS, PE ratio, ROE, cash flow, etc.

Declining revenue. Wouldn't say that it's an undervalued stock

these probably the classic reason why some trader prefer goreng rather than fundamental.

perhaps capped by analyst TP.
