My Saga went for first 1k service on Saturday.

Total damage was RM143.60 from oil gasket drain, engine oil and filter.

Labour charge free for first 3 times.

Anyone knows where to get the silicon remote sleeve?

This one's a worry, I hope a cure is posted. Does it show any codes on an OBD reader? I imagine you've jiggled the shift lever up and down and switched that semi-redundant SAT button on and off a few times.

Ah.. now you remind me about the SAT button.. im currently working oversea and the car is at my hometown.. no one can actually help me troubleshoot the problem..

get some jumper cables to jump start your car. ask a friend for donor car.

Guys, my gearbox light is blinking everytime I drive now. Any ideas where can I go and repair this and check? Also, what's the budget that I have to prepare in case the gearbox is broken.

Hello guys,

My saga got weird prob. There was 2 times where it wont start. Turn the key all the way but no sound at all. No crank at all, just pure silence. Light on dashbaord all show normal as usual.

Left the car for 30 minutes and Vroom.. can start pulak.

Wht is wrong here? i tot its the battery, but if batery kong, i tot it wont be able to start at all but mine can after give it a 'rest'.

-Saga sv manual 2014
-Mileage 1k only
-bought the saga early 2016 from proton as '2nd hand'. Proton manager accidentally ordered wrong car, so to make up his mistake, he bought it under the branch's name and keep it in their care, rarely use it for 2 years (thats why mileage 1k only).

Still warranty? Try changing the CVT fluid. If not maybe sensor got problem

No more. Any advice where is the good place to change CVT fluid? I'm in PJ/Damansara area

That can happen if the immobiliser chip in the key housing has moved from its proper position near the blade, that probably isn't the reason but it's something that's easy to check and could help someone else who reads this. I fixed my chip in place with some double sided tape as it can wander and the starter won't turn over unless the ECU has read the chip.

For CVT, I recommend you change the fluid at Pusat Perkhidmatan Satria Sdn. Bhd if you live in PJ. You might also need to change the filter.
The CVT component is expensive and you won't want to damage it by filling with wrong fluid from outside workshops.
