Guys how much is the 14" FLX alloy rim costs consider reasonable?

I had my car tyre kena ppl release pressure and just noticed when i drove halfway, after that was tried filled back the pressure at petrol station it was ok but will tend to lose pressure quick like 5psi in a day.

Currently using the ori SV rim kompang, rim look good physically. Is it possible to repair and is it worth to do that?

Ayam newbie in car, first car tongue.gif

1) The radiator water, i open the car at the radiator or i add water at another tank that connects to the radiator?

2)the cd playah in the car can open .wav files? i wanna burn some songsi into CD and play it.

Thanks sifus

2) The stock player can't play .wav files, but MP3 can. You can burn it into CD file format (CDDA) or MP3 for playback.
Playing wav files requires you to replace to Pioneer headunit, any model from around 2009 model onwards.

I went for checkup they said is tayar problem, rim still ok.

So I decided to replace the tyres first and see will the problem happens again or not.

Update on the exora's head unit.

I was right on the ISO connector being the same. Everything works like a charm in the terms of sound, power etc.

The mounting however, doesn't fit. The stupid design of the exora's clarion has a slight angle upwards to it. It's not a normal double din. It fits in our center console with our original mounting bracket. But the centre console piece that goes into doesnt fit back.

Thank god I brought all my tools before meeting yhe seller. I took off with the head unit. And I tried putting everything together in my Saga in the 1km vicitnity of the seller. After I knew, it won't fit. I packed everything up and text him for a refund as it doesn't fit. Thankfully the nice guy accepted it.

I offered him to refund me only rm100 as to rm110. He initially wanted to give the full amount but I insisted.

There goes my dream of having an OEM looking player in my Saga. sad.gif
*
That looks like you might need to drill custom holes to fit it.

No understand how it not fit. U mean the facia plate slanted on the EXORA unit? How bad the slant is? If I were to cut the centre console holder, will it still fit? hmm.gif Ayam also not very hepi with my current setup since got a big lobang, but I don't mind if there's a proper unit that fits well where I can cut the centre console holder to fit.

Belanja die je ke? Yg lain? sad.gif

The lobang either you can install it come out abit then use the frame to cover.

The awful thing is that Saga center console was curved but headunit usually flat one, so there will be some slight side lobang there, but to me is ok lah.

i will try  with wd40 this week on the spring. i believe the lagging struck back is due to metal hardening, oxidation. it may help, hopefully.
*
I had mine same problem, but it came from the rubber cover was stayed to that shape and it was stiff enough to prevent the spring to push out.

My remedy is to spray some amount of vinyl and leather protectant on the switch cover and massage it, anything to soften the rubber without harming it.

vinyl n leather protectant means leather cushion wax or equivalent lor?
*
I think so, as it will give the leather or rubber like moist up or shine it. I used turtle wax f21 super protectant, it works and also can remove white spot on rubbers.

For saga flx users, is the cvt as reliable as a manual one? Does it give grinding noise at certain RPM? Saga PLUS currently being offered is without ABS and EBD? Thank you.
*
As long as you periodically service the car with good quality parts and oils, it will not break down. CVT has lower gear ratio and accelerate faster in normal driving condition, but got more whinning noise compared to manual.

Manual is fun but a little tricky that you need rev a little more to get the power, because the engine torque and power come at higher rev.

Are u driving a CVT one? How is the fuel efficiency? Not varied too much with manual transmission thou it is a fact that manual trans will give better fuel consumption. The variant with ABS is executive which costs a lot, do u think the saga plus is worthy to buy?
*
I own a manual one but I did drive a CVT one sometimes. Fuel efficiency actually both around the same, but on highway i would say CVT is better because it has wider gear ratio, like there are 6th speed of the manual version.

Which version you want is depend on your budget, saga plus is sv version with bodykit.

the "6th gear" on CVT is hardly trigger.....

Hmm hmm.gif I tried when I drove 100km/h, my manual at 5th gear need 3k rpm whereas the CVT just maintain at 2.5k rpm.

What happened to your XM2?

I had just changed my rim and tyre together few days ago, Taiwan replica Enkei RPF1 + Bridgestone Potenza RE003 195/50R15

Nothing happen, just i hate XM2 since 1st day i installed.

Harsh & noisy ride, extraordinary (idiotic) thread-wear. The tyre will get harden and you will get extremely poor grip after 40k usage in both dry and wet condition although the thread still left alot.

XM2 absolutely not worth the price, is over-hype/overrated i would say. So i just change again to CC5 as i prefer quiet and comfort ride, i used these tyres before the XM2.
*
Wah you had different experience on XM2, I was planning to try out XM2 after I finished this Potenza.

Previously I had using stock M3 and was really lost of grip after the thread going below half, slipped few times and one time crashed my headlights.

This Potenza did had very great dry and wet grip and also response, noise level was average, not a low noise tyre.
