Mazda 3 maintenance is actually around the ballpark with the Saga in terms of overall cost for maintenance.

At least the Mazda 3 doesn't need 600 bucks to service the gearbox alone. lol.

Already clear my loan few month  ago actually, cause I only take 5 years loan that time.  And cause is my uncle,  I no need to take loan, just monthly pay a certain amount. And my saga only 2 years but quite a number of problems, like passenger side and driver side door sensor rosak d and sometime randomly cannot start engine heard it's something about the voltage not so sure.
Oh, great to hear that. And one thing is that if I get this mazda 3 I do not require any service for now as my uncle just change new tyre and just maintenance not long ago.  Only concern  is petrol consumption only haha.
*
1.6 or 2.0? Coz for FC, 1.6 should be more or less the same only with the Saga. The Saga FC isn't best in its class anyway and you'll have to be really disciplined if you wish to get figures above 13km/l so I think you will not even feel the pinch if the Mazda 3 is the 2.0 version. I wouldn't mind trading off a bit of fuel economy for a bit more comfort, space and refinement.

But if I were you, the main concern shouldn't be fuel consumption. It should be the tires. If 1.6 then tires are cheap since it is 15 inci. If 2.0 then bye bye to cheap tires since it is 17 inci... easily twice the price of the current Saga Sv's 13 inci tires. laugh.gif

2.0  biggrin.gif  Tires should be fine since all four are new tires which less than a month old, so should be good for a year or two  biggrin.gif

Nice. Now go sell your Saga. laugh.gif

I notice heavy brake dust on my left rear rim, right side is fine.
The brake drum is far hotter on the left where my finger cant touch it more than 2sec. Right side drum is just warm only..

I didn't notice any/much drag from the wheel, step accelerator like normal only..

Anyone have this issue before?

Any advise bro?

errkk...

i think i better get it checked hahaha..

FC not really teruk to me but compared to other cars quite teruk, one tank around 280 lel

pulling hippo feeling sometimes yes sometimes no but dunno isit because different mood  laugh.gif

but how to check ya sifu? or nid bring back to SC? hmmm  sweat.gif
*
one tank 280 is really teruks. I can do 280 with 2 bars left in the tank.

one of the easier methods is to jack up the car, release handbrake and manually turn each rear wheel. If encounter resistance means stuck lo.
But then this method only works if the cylinder is jammed while expanding. If jammed contracting then your rear will have no brakes at all since the cylinder isn't able to push the brake shoe to slow down the rear wheel movement. This isn't that noticable if u drive alone most of the time since about 70% of the braking is done by the front brakels... but when you stuff the car full of humans... different story la.

Sooo guys. Last time i opted for some sport springs. The problem is the rear is lower than the front. Otherwise handling all good. Any idea why? Is there any possibility the guy put backwards?
*
Impossible put backwards. THe front springs are smaller in diameter than the rear

Most prolly the rear springs too lembut.

Hello Sifus/ Gurus/ Pros,

Since yesterday night, CVT warning light on..
The best part is this morning I did not turn on the light, the warning light wont light up.  sweat.gif
But when I turn on the light, the warning light only will show on smile.gif Magic  shocking.gif

Can feel the car gearbox got issue.  rclxub.gif
When shifting the gear to R or D or SAT, the car wont move except press gas pedal.
Normally when parking, shift to R or D, the car will slightly move.
But after the warning light on, need to press pedal to reverse if not, just stop there.
Confirm need to fix, but anyone meet this issue before?

4 years Saga FLX CVT that just run 57k km  sad.gif
