Hmm, I've so far jumpstarted a GenTut, Trooper and Altis.... so far OK. I guess if we use our car to jumpstart other cars, it is OK but if our FLX battery kaput... we better don't use other car to jumpstart our car.

I personally think even if it's true, it won't damage the whole CVT unit. The worst should be the TCU and TCU won't really cost a bomb right ?
It's only the electronic circuit that's damaged.
I have two jumper cable in my boot. If this is seriously true, then I should take it out before I forget about this and use it.
It is just the TCU. And the TCU is RM3k.
The CVT unit itself is RM12k.
