hydraulic engine mounts usually used only in high end cars such as Porsche and also certain cars with diesel engines such as the Honda Amaze. The main advantage of hydraulic mounts is it helps in reducing NVH. The fluid in the mounting chamber helps in absorbing the vibration and shock produced by the engine and as a result, the vehicle's NVH level can be reduced.

Cons? Cost and durability issues. It is expensive than a solid rubber mount and often the rubber which holds the hydraulic fluid chamber will develop cracks due to engine heat and this causes failure due to oil leakage.

Guys, just now my signal stop working suddenly.. Both left and right. It wont flash whenever i use the signal stick or hazard button. But the signal will flash when i on/off the alarm.

Any idea what's wrong? Is there anything need to be replaced and what's the cost? I don't think it was due to fuse blown coz it still flash when i on/off the alarm

Hazard switch rosak effect signal indicator as well? How much the cost?
*
as simple as unplugging the hazard switch itself will not trigger the signal indicator. Afterall, that's the cheapest component to diagnose/replace first (PW855369 RM33.49) compared to signal stalk, steering column console or wiring. lol

QUOTE(chester_85 @ Apr 11 2016, 09:38 PM)
The CVT warning light suddenly went on when I was leaving after work today. I stopped and switched off the engine and everything and waited for a while then I turned on the engine again. The warning light is still on. I do not know what's wrong but could not wait at the car park for long so I proceed to drive home.

The light was on all the way when i was driving and went off when I stepped on the brake. I managed to reach home in worried mood. I was quite worried that my car will suddenly stopped in the middle of the road. Luckily it didn't happen.

Anyone here experienced the same situation as mine? What's the solution for this?
*
go to SC or to your mech and have the brake switch checked.

How come the got so many people experiencing the CVT light prob?  hmm.gif  Is the light show problem specifically for CVT or is general like the "check engine" light?
*
The CVT itself is connected to more components compared to the 4AT, hence if one of the components failed, the warning light easily triggers. In most cases, the warning light doesnt indicate direct problem with the CVT but rather indirect problem such as brake lamp and brake switch.

authorised dealer or proton edar, both still the same. At the end of the day, whatever stated on the service boooklet, that's the one that matters.

Since proton edar quite near my house tats y i sent to them... btw service booklet state tat service at 10k mileage or 6 months which ever come 1st, so if my car onli reach 5k after 6 month oso nid to sent bac to them for service? Will it void warranty if i sent my car when it reaxh 10k but mayb 10months after tat?
*
Follow everything black and white if you want your warranty. If it states 6 mths then after 6 months just go back service even you haven't reach the mileage yet.
