Plus Daisy would have been road freighted further as well, at least 1300 km if it landed in Brisbane or much further if it landed as is quite likely at a more southern port.
I like the reversing sensor too, it only intrudes if there's an issue.
Nice of Malaysia to send such nice models to our market, a real shame in many ways that they've been unwanted, and sadly a lot of that can be put down to prejudice or fear of anything non-mainstream, meanwhile I have to read about issues that the "better" brands have all the time whilst continuing to have a reliable Daisy.

You won't need a new seal, it only seals dust out, no big deal.
Open end spanners are the tool of the devil unless a fastener isn't very tight but ever since the British car industry vanished into a sea of its own oil leaks car makers always make sure fasteners are torqued up good and tight.

I prefer not to have all those things....because after spoil then people complain why this spare parts expensive and then blame quality of parts not good. And with more accessories you have more stuff to worry about. smile.gif

Hi Bro wankel.... notworthy.gif

It's alwaz a pleasure & educational 2read yr comments in here...
Besides Bro iskazulka who has been practically holding this fort up 4quite some time oledi...
Tks 2dedicated ppl in this forum...it still lives!! thumbsup.gif

Fyi (and Bro iskazulka )...
I hv finally got 2pcs of the Ori seal for the timing belt cover...seems 2 pcs are needed?
Even the shop fella told me so! Haha! biggrin.gif

As yu hv said, there's (usually?) no need 4their replacements...
However me hv noticed cracks along the upper side of the existing seal. sweat.gif
So..as a kinda pessimistic guy, me feel safer with spares in hand b4 attempting removal. icon_rolleyes.gif
Anyway they dun cost much...got them fr a spare parts shop for only RM9 /pc...abt AUD3?

Btw me hv also a 3rd party transparent cover...may replace with that if no probs encountered.
Will update here if cld do so... tongue.gif

Hv a nice evening!!
Cheers!! cheers.gif

Wow, I wouldn't need any excuse to put a clear cover on, I'm envious.
Thanks for the respect, really I'm here to share knowledge, of which I need all I can find for this very rare car, so I lap up any tid-bits I find.

Now for a request of my own, does anyone know what pressure to expect from doing a compression test on a S4PH?
I'm curious about what effect valve overlap may have on its real compression ratio, as in 10:1 in theory which it is may only be say 9.5:1 in practice.

Bezza? Who needs Proton?

ASEAN NCAP crash test result have put the Bezza higher ranking than the Iriz/Preve already. Just a few points behind the Honda Jazz.

Even Child Occupant Protection is way ahead of Proton.

Perodua may have just succeeded with its first-ever sedan.
*
But don't forget Proton also succeeded with Saga BLM from year 2007.

The only thing that keep ppl away from Iriz is the so called 'VVT' engine which basically derived from the old Camtakpro, if they plug in Mitsu/toyo/honda engine, even with the current pricing it will sell also.

New Saga and Persona? Really no eye see if the engine is still the same as Iriz.

From my source, yes it will be the same engines. Very high possibility la.

New engines plus new Jatco CVT? 2018 earliest.

dis is the reason i would buy bezza over new saga.
camtakpro with vvt- more like fake vvt compared to toyolta vvt. whistling.gif
aksia ady won over iriz, inikan pulak bezza over new saga & new persona combined.
