U can just change the oil, when reach 120km then u can change the filter n gasket (if required). Damage for all items around RM600. I just changed few weeks ago only.

kazuya, what he meant is, you can change cvt filter the second time you change cvt fluid. every 2 times change cvt fluid then only change filter.

Rashid tukar minyak cvt dan cvt filter pada mileage 120k
Rashid tukar minyak cvt pada mileage 180k
Rashid tukar minyak cvt dan cvt filter pada mileage 240k

Reason being i really cannot tahan the jerky-ness of the cvt anymore..so that day my pocket left rm200.. change cvt fluid total rm195..luckily still left rm5 for dinner.. huhuhu..

I also use the old filter.. plan to change in on next cvt service at 80k

Although service booklet stated 40k.
I change mine with 20-25k interval due to everyday traffic jam.33km take 2 hour to reach destination with my work route.
Most of the time only use gear 1 and gear 2.ATF still running inside torque convertor , pump....... etc when gear in D with brake applied, ATF heatup more with torque convertor in stall.

Currently using Hyundai Enercell maintenance free battery,serve me until today 2 years 10months still function well. RM 190 during purchase inculding trade in old battery.

Personally recommend it.

As some mentioned previously, how long the battery can lasts depends on luck.

I don't know whether driving everyday or long distance would make the battery lasts longer but what I've found is somehow this ramcar (stock) battery can last quite long.

This is based on what I've been reading about this battery on FB saga club.

And his is definitely very long indeed...

I'm jelly... I hope mine will last as long as his as well...

Hi, can anyone recommend any good workshop to replace timing belt and major service for Proton Saga FLX CVT around Bandar Sunway or Kelana Jaya.

Last time the tyre shop boss told me, Korea car consume a lot of electric, so Korea battery design to handle it. He said it should last longer on national car. The shop no longer sell this battery, my another car also use Korea battery.

Is this the one?

is this price ok or not? got from rawang proton service

I was quote around rm580 for cvt fluid, cvt filter, gasket and labour.
