ya.... it's pretty good and decent, considering the stress level that we have to take at times.

Pretty tight as everywhere though things could be done if you know someone over there.

I was seconded to SG when they wanted to expand the ECM division.

Location?

If it's in KL, that's a pretty lousy pay.

Some freshies can already command 3.5k as programmer.

2 hr manage 250 employee means you are the manager? Then why you want lower to become ass manager or senior? Should aim for manager post.

No, I m the HR Exec only and i m reporting to Human Resource cum Finance Manager. She has zero no knowledge in HR as she from Finance. I feel like it is very difficult for me to go further in this company. Even it is MNC but the management is Chinaman.

Hi everyone,

I am a fresh graduate starting my first job in a Big 4 end of this year. I'll be in the Audit Department. I plan to study ICAEW part time as required by the firm.

I have always wondered what is the salary increment like for chartered accountants? I plan to only stay at the firm until I get my chartered and seek opportunities elsewhere as I know there's no life in auditing.

Any response is appreciated thank you!

Aim to have 5k in 3 years then you are considered on track/natural progression in BIG 4. Then hop to commercial for work life balance.

I am thinking of moving to another telco company (Australian) after passed the interview & received their offer with quite attractive package. But somewhow it reminds me of what happened years ago when i was force to resign (VSS) with previous company.
Is it a wise decision to make a career jump now? I cant predict what will happen in next few years (heard that economic recession is happening)

Would it consider to be too ambitious?

For fresh grad, yes. 2.8 with additional bonus is good.

if u are at big four... getting 4-5k within 3 years is a piece of cake... considering your start up pay is rm3000 or above rm2800.... depends on qualification.... if mid tier firm... then might needed slightly longer than that....
