QUOTE(BEANCOUNTER @ Apr 1 2016, 04:08 PM) confirmed ECOWORLD sudah beli..... Are you sure already confirmed bought? I thought that piece of land already bought by Boustead?setia people disclosed already....they said they worst nightmare is to complete with ECOWORLD than any other developers...... keke...ECOWORLD just wont leave setia alone..... Some of my personal thought: 1. That pieces of land is too small to build a township, and EcoWorld's company direction are to build large township 2. Geographically this pcs of land is hard to develop, due to hill, lake, uneven land etc, which one would need to put a lot of cost to for foundation work. 3. If Eco World were to buy this land, there would be a EGM for proposed land purchase, and I am not aware of this EGM going to happen anytime soon. |

Listed company practise, if acquire new land, should make public announcement to Bursa. Unless the deal is still in a very preliminary stage. Some of my personal thought: 1. This is the last news that we have on dec 2015:
BOUSTEAD TO GAIN RM194 MILLION FROM STAKE SALE Shares Investment December 30, 2015 Stock Market Boustead Holdings’ wholly-owned unit, Bakti Wira Development, will dispose its 30 percent stake in loss-making Jendela Hikmat (JHSB) for RM180 million. JHSB is involved in property development and owns five parcels of land, measuring 577.6 acres; three of which are located in Bukit Raja, Selangor, one plot of land each in Klang and Kuching. The group is expected to reap a net gain of RM194.5 million, based on the its cost of investment and after adjusting for share of losses, impairment of goodwill, as well as tax and expenses arising from the proposed disposal. Siginificance: According to Boustead, the disposal – subjected to approval of shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting – represents an opportunity to realise its investment at a premium, over the adjusted effective net assets of JHSB. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the deal is expected to be completed by 3Q16 and proceeds will be used for working capital purposes. This post has been edited by kelchai: Apr 1 2016, 06:15 PM |

QUOTE(zephyrus9999 @ Mar 31 2016, 11:22 PM) Personally im not that affected as I only come back once in a while during holidays. But yes SA is not the worse in food but not that great. Chili pan mee has one branch at bandar bukit tinggi, opposite Giant, same row with Sen Heng.Well, its a new township so cant complain. Plus its shah alam, what to expect. If compare to PJ, I suppose you can find good food within 10km radius drive (puchong, subang, cheras, damansara, etc). But for SA residence (if you are one), SA is the only place you get your daily meal, or klang. Apart from that, get ready to drive 15+km to subang. If wanna try connaught chilli pan mee I got to drive like 40km? Im hoping much more food establishment will arrive here in future (Tired of KFC pizza old town, etc you know) |

After checking the google map, there is activities of clearing of land at that areas (next to toll). It has the size as big as SA northern.
Mmm...if really eco world....that will also help to boost up SA. A new route from SA to Shah Alam (U12) .... mmm.... Is it going to be great? |

Whether Eco World or not, whatever coming out from that highland, must exclusive & luxury, price surely above millions
Will likely effected SA sales on these future SA Percinct 11 Semi D, upcoming 30 x 75 Semi D, Duta Villa, The Circle Collection (Bungalows), Setia Eco Park and those sub sales above RM 1 million and above... So those SA property under RM 1 millions, will still selling like hot cakes.... This post has been edited by Mighty Duck: Apr 2 2016, 08:08 AM |
