Anyone know how to upgrade from 1mbps to 4mbps ? The answer from TM agent is that the port for 4mbps / 8mbps is full . The house is not in rural area but in the middle of Sungai Petani township . Already 3 times apply for upgrade , still same answer

Anyone know or got inside man that have way to upgrade the internet speed . DM me
* 1 mbps too slow for me . 2015 still 1mbps !! Malaysia ku .

Unfortunately you will have to reserve 4Mbps plan so that when it's available, TM will upgrade for you immediately. If you really need something faster, consider wireless broadband.

do you mean the speedtest server?

my unifi 30 will install next week, what to look out for? is the router user/pw given by them?
*
Router username and password is printed on the manual with the Residential Gateway

or you can try admin as username and no password (depends on router to router basis)

My streamyx, 4mbps result:

But when I stream YouTube, surf Facebook, download files and play Dota - still experience lag and slow Internet (Facebook can't even load next news feed, YT stuck at 360p, can't even load 480p smoothly).

Thanks to all who have participated in my browsing speed survey.

I asked for 5 participants. Now I want more as the trend will be better with more numbers. Ha.

So please spare 1-2 mins to do the test. PM me your results.

I will compile the survey and present the results here by Tues (10-nov).

Many thanks.

P/S For the IT and statistics sifu, I know there are many uncontrolled variables and my survey will not be conclusive. I am not aiming for rocket science accuracy (1.0001 vs 1), just a ball park observation. Thanks.

Well, I never bother to run those speed test, since I know it is waste of time.
Loading a main page fast don't mean anything.

175 is good?
idk why but if i get 175 my internet doesnt work...have to restart until get other ip

Random for me. 175 mostly were the best

Depends which 175 (city) I've got 175 in Kuching (where I'm staying), Miri, Sibu and on other states like Penang, Johor, KL and rare for me Kelantan.

Gotten 124/110/60 before and were sometime good but when i get another same range It's below average and lost packets to even google.
