anyone use their security and surveillance package ? any review about it ?

Hi guys, have you guys had any router issues, where TM said they have to come over to your house and check?

And they say that if the router is faulty they will change for you but have to choose either these options
1) Pay RM120+ for new one
2) They will replace one for free but I will have to renew contract.

Is this some ploy to force you to renew contract?

However I am a bit hesitant to renew contract because, I don't want to be tied down for another two years.
Because I am currently paying RM149 for 5mb and the Maxis RM128 for 10mb package is very tempting (sorry for bringing this up in this thread, but just explaining why I am wary of renewing contract)

I ad contact Maxis regarding latency and they currently fixing it. So just give them time to rectify the issue. This because unifi changed their infrastructure so caused maxis also need to do new troubleshooting etc..

I just sign up 30mbps plan from maxis to my second house at Kepong, and installed it and surfing still ok, sometimes disconnected for no reason but not frequent, I still can accept and just hope they will fixed it before end of year

Coz from what I know certain channels are in 4K resolution lol

LAN cable get a solid 30mbps and 5 mbps upload.

They state they carried out maintenance at mid nov until mac 2016, sometime they will contact u regarding the service.

Its not lost but just kept inside the house and the owner is not around for 2 months at least. Not willing to pay for Extra RM300 anymore.

I still have the boxes for the dect phone, wireless router and the btu. Say if I want to terminate my account someday, do I need to return all the equipments including the boxes as well?

yes. using wifi. signal max 20mbps at my room. usually get arround 12-20mbps. ping is good. buy somehow keep disconnect. not only disconect my dota but my internet too. after 30sec ok back already.

I am using the stock router for 2nd level (family hall wheres my tv/androidbox) and a wrt54g repeater-bridge on my 1level, main hall.

i usually get two bar on my first level in my room.

living in a semi detached house.

is it worth it to get n12hp from asus or dlink 650L if budget is not an issue. n12hp looks like it would produce good range+speed.what abt dir-650L (i didnt see any antennas)

So between Dir650L and N12HP,

which is a better one for unifi?

currently my speed with 2nd level main router is ard 25mbps

on level1 second router (wrt54g ddwrt convert to repeater bridge) got 6mbps

both are tested at full bar using wifi (wifi is my main usage)

i'm using asus rt-n12. is it not good enough? thinking to get rm500 router.

but somehow i faced random disconnect from dota2 and internet aswell for couple of sec. this usually happened at night. is it the signal or something?

same floor. no of wall 1. distance around 10meters? is it my usb wifi issue?

I heard TM would be continuing the 5mbps and 10mbps unifi packages later at the end of this month at a cheaper price. Anyone heard of this?
