If your upload speed is not even 20% of your download speed, your torrent speed can barely get close to your max speed(look at streamyx).

1Mbps comes with 384Kbps upload speed. which is close to 38%
8Mbps only comes with 512Kbps which hurt download speed quite much.
But if your upload speed is higher than 2Mbps, regardless how slow is your upload speed, you won't notice upload speed is the limiting factor to your download speed.

That BTU can support up to 2.84Gbps download and 1.42Gbps Upload. So it's much more than enough

Well I'd use TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND for 2 and a half year and this device is still kicking ass good.

Most of the technician doesn't know how to setup custom router but it's so simple that you don't have to bother to request them setting up for you.

God damn, I can't stop laughing when some people mention that the latest model of router had no antenna. How the fuck does a wifi router function if it doesn't have fucking antenna. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

15-20Mbps solely for 4K streaming is the minimum requirement.
If your bandwidth is 15Mbps, when another device is using part of the bandwidth, your 4K is gone.

Most likely on their server side, there's a chance they will test new equipment at customer end. Why would they charge you for equipment not fully optimized for customer?
