So it's normal that they changed my phone number a.k.a I won't be able to use my old number anymore. And how do I terminate my Streamyx? Do they terminate it for me or I have to go to the centre myself?
*
To avoid unnecessary charges, proceed to TM point to terminate instead of waiting it to auto terminate.

I suspect the Tmnet/Unifi is changing from a good international Pipe/Backbone to a low quality cheap bad international pipe/backbone, in order to lower the traffic cost of 30mbps-50mbps.

My guess is they rent some low quality international pipe (half the cost or lower), that's why some youtube can't load, and for webmaster their USA server also suffer very huge latency lately.

Does anyone have some insider news ?
*
I would rather believe TM had increase bandwidth of local peer routing but didn't increase much in terms of international peer routing bandwidth. I didn't find 30/50 much inferior than old VIP plan.

With premium account or just normal?
If normal the lowest I can get is 10kb/s.
The "30"mbps is just for Malaysia to get "developed" country status on 2020 whistling.gif
*
30 mbps is just to inflate the average internet speed of malaysia without solving the root problem

Well, can you get consistent 30mbps of download 24/7 all the time?
Even my 5mbps only can get 5mbps from 2nd week till end of 3rd week, before it start slowing down to 3-4mbps doh.gif
1st month on unifi even worst, it dropped to 1mbps toward end of month where i download 24/7 most of the time shakehead.gif
So now slow it down to off 10/on 38 and yet I still getting throttle down during night time rclxub.gif
*
to many users are using that website using a vpn can prevent this problem because TM can't see what you are doing and not able to selective throttle

i am not sure how tm do the capped system for speed but it look like they capped at our line itself at their end point or on the ONT/BTU based on our account speed... just now i try my account at my aunt premise and go until 5mbps only due to her subscribe 5mbps...so sad only 10% of my account speed....

for my home, i can get peak download(using speedtest, usually at the begining) up to 85mbps before it drop to 50-55mbps...wishing they can stay that speed due to glitch... hahaha

very curious to know how the way they capped our speed to the core...

during streamyx time, always borrow my friend's account due to his account is 1mb and mine is 512kbps...later upgrade 1mbps get 1.5mbps before upgrade to unifi...

TM endpoint actually

Hmm.. why would they randomly pick ppl to offer free calls ? just dont make sense.I think some ppl who have been receiving calls are actually receiving calls from tm agents not from tmc them self.

If you receive call from tmc then free call is standard as i didnt even ask for it.

Btw my payment record is terrible, overdue every 3 months kena potong sad.gif
*
usually customer with good payment record will be considered to offer free call first.

Read some previous discussions on IPv6. Could someone please advise how I should enable IPv6? Do I enable it on my computer, or I should enable it on my router?

I am on Uinifi 30 and is using TP-link router.

Thanks.
*
You can enable it if your router support IPV6

Thanks for the confirmation
Any specific settings with openwrt for unifi? I've never used openwrt before
Bought an Asus rt n12 c1 to replace stock unifi router
Gooding enough?
*
if you are on asus it's much more simpler. I setup my router via command line interface.

Hi all, do anyone facing issue with unifi 30 where there are plenty of services are not able to surf it..

For example AirAsia Apps which is using https://acme.airasia.com and I also noticed that MyTeksi apps are having the similar issue..

What is going on? It seems to me that TM is blocking them.. Because I can use these two apps without issue with my mobile internet..

Not just these two apps, sometimes Facebook Instagram are super slow loading style.. After upgrading to Unifi 30 from VIP 10, the service have not improved at all and they charged me extra..

Unifi oh Unifi.. Paying premium price what shitty service.. Please advice?

VPN solve this problem but it's not practical to be connected to VPN 24/7

I am staying at Jalan Sg. Renggam 32/10, Berjaya Park, 40460 Shah Alam, Sgor.

No fixed line broadband. Can you guys help?

We are living in Klang Valley but no high speed broadband.

Help!
*
How can we help? That area is handled by DiGi by they didn't place any fixed line. I found that TM had plan to take over according to a forumer.

Currently I am using Maxis broadband. Really suffer with 12GB quota. I need any broadband service with unlimited quota.  Is streamy available in this area? As long as can take 8MBPS, I am ok. As long as unlimited quota.

I heard TMnet taking over this area starting next year. However, no news so far.

Anybody can give a solution? P1wimax too slow in my area. CANNOT! lol

Alright I will explore both options.

Router I guess Asus RT-N12HP is the best? According to https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3611812/all

Any suggestion for the best homeplug?
*
If you want the best get asus rt-ac87u.
