Is this guide correct to setup Unifi?

HyppTv to LAN 1? Not LAN 4?

I've had enough with maxis ftth, after being with them since 2012.

Every year, my internet will be down at least 3 times, and it takes 7 to 10 days to fix it, every time.

i am staying at bandar so.long, any bro here using unifi in this area? How is the speed and what is your package?

There are so many unifi package now, confusing! I am looking at vip5, vip10, and the new advance package. But I heard a lot of complaint on the advance package. Is the advance package good now? I need to upload files as I manage a website, is the upload speed for advance package stable? I am worry it is slow because upload is only 5mbps.

I am using Apple MacBook and iPad. Any issues such as the slow Apple Apps Store previously mentioned in this forum? Is it solve?

I have astro so no intention to use HyppTV. Can I totally switch off the HyppTV device? Will the Internet connection work with the HyppTV equipment totally switch off?

Anyone have tested both old router with dual antenna and the new one without antenna? Any difference in performance?

Also when speed test using samsung note, if near the router the get 30 but just 3 2 meter way.getting 15 only. But with laptop same 30.

Yeak! Sounds like if your area many people doing downloading 24/7, then your internet performance will suffer.

Is this a case of siapa cepat dia dapat?

Is this the reason some people having the same issue, some solved, some unsolved? Some slow, some fast? If this is the case, I do not think it is acceptable!

TM engineer all OK, just scared of their management. But for sure TM will oversell their bandwidth, otherwise no ISP in the world will survive. Just look at the prices of dedicated bandwidth from ISPs like NTT MSC.

they do. every ISP does that, your vps and shared hosting's cpu, disk, ram, bandwidth, all are oversold.

Do you guys have issues with connection hanging with unifi at high rise?
This month itself i have experienced 3 times and had to call them each time to reset.  Shows connection fine but can't get to any website, etc.
is this common?  When i call the helpdesk they seem to indicate like its normal. Is there something wrong with my router?

TM just came last week and change my TM Huawei Modem adapter(spoilt) for my maxis ftth.

If they change to the fire hazard adapter, then I am in big trouble.

Serious 4Mb connection is enough for 50 desktop pc?

I am using 10Mb for my desktop also find it quite slow.

i lodged a report on twitter to tmconnect and they replied to me this. are they really can extend our contract for BTU and router replacement? both stil under warranty and i just subscribed unifi last month. everyday have disconnecting issues. happened EVERY 30 minutes.

I have also upgraded my streamyx to Unifi and the technician came to my house and installed it this afternoon. Why did they give a new phone number?
