actually i am customs officer ma....if kena tahan then just write exemption letter to head of department for releasing the goods...

normally they can waived all the tax...

but if you got many goods to bring, try to appeal low tax as the customs officer is human being... being nice with them and that thing can be discussed...

but if you bring absolute prohibited goods like some chemical, weaponry, some drugs/medicine with no approval of kkm and others as stated in 2nd schedule of customs duty list, that one cannot get back...

I'm wondering, lately many users with advan 30 (including me) randomly suffered dropped download speed. Speed dropped to between 3Mb-5Mb while upload speed remain unchanged....could it be Tmnet is testing implementing FUP and quota limits? 

When I complained to 100, they have no idea what;s going on and even the norm S.O.P including resetting the ports didnt solved the problem either.

Then the technician came over to my house checked my BTU with their laptop  and then call their counterpart at  TM. I overheard the technician mentioned the word "testing" , "quota" and "capped".

After that he told me he had requested the tech dept to uncapped my connection from 5Mb to normal.

When I asked him "So meaning that my dropped speed was not due to  any faulty equipments or ports but your side capped it at 5Mb instead of 30Mb...?'

He was evasive and then just say said the tech side probably made mistake

Its a wild hunch..could it be quota limits and FUP will be implemented?  

Well... they do have in their fine print in regards to FUP being implemented. You have technically agreed to it by using their service. "Unlimited" only means that there's no quota. The bottom line is that TM isn't restricting your usage to the internet, they're just slowing you down because they can.

This is why despite the throat gouging price, going for the BIZ plan is better. No headaches, no FUP bs. Any slowdown, call direct to their business SME line and they will fix it within 15 minutes (as long as it's on their side, i.e not hardware prob).

1) It's damn obvious TM does throttling, it's not even a secret anymore. It's pretty much an unofficial fact.
2) It's written there in their T&C, FAQ(s) and their very own workers say so.

Previously I complained already. The technicians came to my house and checked my connection but the result remained the same. Can I request to pay less amount for monthly bill because of this?

Abysmal line quality these past few days. Even using VPN doesn't fix it.

Downloading from an FTP in the Netherlands only give me 20kB/s (usual speed 1,100kB/s). Some sites does not load at all. Facebook is facing the usual problems. Strangely, there is no problem at all with Youtube.

i think that should be ok as xiaomi router will handle and processing all the connection and all the demand...

tm router just like bridge to connect yours to internet... not doing any processing...

Just now UNIFI Tech just came to change my modem adapter coz I report to them about slow speed since last 2 days. LOL
And it's confirmed that the Upload speed for 30Mbps user will be upgraded to 10Mbps and 50 to 20Mbps. Coz I asked them. hahahaha.. And for something 'fishy', they said my port are open to 100Mbps. Hurmmmmmmm.. That means they already can support 100Mbps? Is that means will be 100Mbps package soon?   

I just realise D-LINK routers come with Wireless HyppTV support. Anyone tested that feature?

Wanna check any other heavy downloader facing extreme slow speed problem from after work hours throughout the night until day time

Speedtest to Msia servers will show full speed and even 10mb upload, but downloading from france/germany servers is slow as snail. Only below 150kbps!!!! Speed will resume to normal during day time. Equipment and software used are the same

My 15gb file started download about 8pm yesterday and whole night also can't finish!! Until morning after 7am only i see the speed jump to 3mb/s+ and left more than 10gb to download!!

Any solution?

Indeed..TM have been monopoly for too long.If only TIME coverage applies to landed,that would at least create some competitiveness. Perhaps only time will tell whether there will be another competitor

Hi all, I just subscribed to the unifi advance 30mbps package.

However when I conduct a speedtest with the LAN cable attached, the speed only averages around 24mbps with the stock router.

Is this normal?

my jan unifi bill is 21x
suppose it should be only 179 right given the promotion price
