The counter still has someone manning to it. You can also pay your stuff there, it is just a normal cashier.
Sam's Groceria has self-scanning feature, you buy everything and scan all and bring to the counter to pay.

Well, I seldom shop in Mydin, if there is such a thing, yes then it is the same thing.

but, serve different market. mydin for most of the people. sam is target on high clsss or ppl no mind to paying more cos the price of item is much more expensive

With Ikhwan yes can get 5 % rebate, don't ever use Hlb Wise you will get 0 % .
