TnG cards (including the one in MyKad) is set for 10 years expiry. Easiest place to check expiry date is at the TnG portal. MyKad itself has no expiry date but information on card (e.g. drivers licence, passport, etc) needs to be updated when it changes.

This might be a bit off topic, but anyone has used tngo card to pay for groceries at any mydin or tesco? Does it work all the time or there is always system down or whatever?

maximum amount your tng card can hold is up to rm1.5k. sometimes i reload rm500+rm500 when my card still have around rm400++.

yeah, wanted to reload rm500+rm500 actually. but in the end chose to reload rm500 in tng and another rm500 in aeon big gift card.

i went to Giant Batu caves to reload my touch n go but i was told by the supervisor that must use cash to reload and

you should buy giant voucher or gift card with credit card
then only use voucher or gift card to reload your tng
try to avoid doing all at same counter

yes, any cc terminal at payment counter within tesco/giant/aeonbig/etc will be under grocery.

for tesco, usually they don't have cc terminal at customer service counter, so they will bring to one of the empty cashout counter to swipe.

aiyo, normally the cs counter is to handle complaints or returns. some do sell rokok, mineral water, etc. takkan want to apply one cc terminal?
