oh..really ? then they might as well cut it out that portion ... will the cutter scratch my windscreen ? doh.gif  doh.gif

If they're good at what they are doing, pretty sure they won't damage your windscreen. Mine done under Llumar and they removed the tint from that portion of the glass already when the car was delivered to me

Curious to know when cruising at 160km/h, what is the speed of the engine? Hope to get some info here as I have never test drove at the speed.

Thanks for the feedback notworthy.gif . What if you increase the engine speed to 4,500rpm, will the vehicle's speed increase proportionally?

Hopefully 4,500r.p.m. would give you not less than 180km/h, despite less power at the wheel, but in return, it's going to contribute to better fuel efficiency when cruising at that speed.

I didn't know there is a potential transmission damage when the car is set to cruise at more than 160km/h.

I had bad experience of driving at around 120km/h, well, I actually fell asleep sweat.gif

Have you had any experience of driving at speed faster than 160km/h? May I know what is the engine speed beyond 160km/h?

for stock tyre GoodYear Excellence , not advisable to drive > 160km/h .... not stable...

around 3-3.3k ...

u can drive at this speed , but bear in mind u will damage ur TB real soon , probably in less than 5yrs.... ur engine and cvt will wear faster ...

OIC, good to know that and thanks for the advice.

Are you told by the Honda after sales service staff that by constantly driving at 160km/h or higher, the transmission will prone to failure? Is this a known issue on this model?

Cruise at whatever speed u think is best...u have 5 years warranty...after 5 years sell off. Nothing to worry.
Just don't get others into accident if it happens

Ooo...may I know which specific component in the transmission you need to change more frequently if you constantly driving at speed of more than 160km/h due to higher wear and tear mentioned?

If not mistaken, the latest verson of waze does not able to mirror into HU.
I forgotten where I got this information already.
*
I've actually found a very simple way to mirror everything on my iphone to HU. It's right in front of me but some bugs in the HU firmware make me thought it is not functioning. You don't need to install any apps for this to work. What you need to do is as follow:

1. Power off your HU by pressing the power button on the top right of the HU and power it on again.
2. Connect your iphone to the HU HDMI port with Lightning Digital AV adapter.
3. Choose HDMI as the input mode from your HU screen.
4. DONE! In less than 5 seconds, your iphone screen is mirror to the HU.
5. For any reason that the HU can't detect your iphone, just power off and power on the HU then repeat step 2-4 above.

*The only cons for this method is that you can't control your iphone via HU. You will need to use iphone to swipe, select, pinch, etc. The HU is just like a normal TV.
