my personal experience lah. lcd looks good if u connect it using DVI cable.my pc is hooked up to two lcd

both from viewsonic.. vx922 and vx2235 i think. 19" and 22" respectively. just make sure you set up the color mode correctly or the print color will be off.

the viewsonic you mentioned is no longer availabe here. i was looking for that before opting for thethe vx2235.i have to say i love this monitor.beautiful bazel and nice picture quality.quite cheap now at 1220.. i bought the vx922 for 1400 a few years back and its only a 19 incher!! lcd is cheap these days!

here is a pic of them

user posted image

and the review - i dunno why they gave it low scores.mine performed sweetly!

Why when I watch DVD movie at LCD , there's a lot of block came out?? It is ok playing at TV but a lot of block... all square block.why??????
*
It is because of low resolution of the movie, the lowest resolution the more square block, there was nothing wrong with the display. I bet u are watching pirated dvd movie, rite?

Actually VX2025WM can still find here! I saw at lowyat today (April 5, 07) @ Jayacom and Paradise Tec, maybe no stock at the time you looked? Elsewhere in MY maybe can ask distributors on here if there are any shop near you that sell.

Btw nice dual screen setup you have there obefiend!! thumbup.gif

The Pantone Huey sounds awesome, it won many awards and the price also good (RM299), the specs sound great, can see and buy here (for windows and mac): Direct link to shanshiki's product description

"Here's a neat feature and something that the bigger more expensive units don't have. Huey will continously read the ambient room light and adjust your screen color to compensate." donno what kind of real world effect this has but still notworthy.gif

for Samsung 932B color quality quite good, but the stand is very lite & the plastic quite fragile... The glossy surface easily get scratches even u using soft duster...

Great price, 5ms response time, 700:1 contrast ratio.

But ... some ppl said it has noticeable color banding and backlight bleeding.

any FP222w LCD users here? What do you think?

Should I buy it? Is the color banding and backlight bleeding REALLY REALLY bad, or is it insignificant?

I don't worry about color banding or backlight bleeding issue because i don't use my LCD in a completely dark room.... sweat.gif

Hmmm...looks like this BenQ is not bad too.. thumbup.gif

Ok thx, im sticking to a conventional lcd instead of a widescreen coz some games dont support widescreen games or look a little weird.

Btw, how much does the 931c cost since the closest i found is the samsung 932b which goes for rm795.
